Induction Part 1

~With Peter~

After Kamala's induction, I had to go in the back with Kairi and Asuka and that was when I knew it was time for me to Induct my best friend, and my mentor, Chris Jericho, into the WWE Hall of Fame.

I saw Chris with his wife and daughter, and I knew that he wanted them to bring him out. I LOVE IT!

Jerry: Thank you very much. You know, we've had such a celebration for tonight, but we are NOT done yet. Ladies and gentlemen, our final Inductee.

A vignette about Chris was going on and it was very good. I will admit, I was almost in tears watching it. It even showed our match from Smackdown a couple weeks ago, which made it all the more emotional. Once it ended, I was almost in tears as Kairi was hugging me.

Jerry: And now, before we induct the man who breaks down walls, please welcome, the young man will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania, his protégé, Peter Reynolds!

My music played and everyone started to sing along as I was making my way out to the stage with Asuka and Kairi.

Crowd: You are beautiful, lonely inside,

I came out to hear the crowd still singing along and I was smiling so much, I couldn't take it. It was awesome!

Crowd: I am cold like December snow

Kana hugged me as Kairi kissed my lips and was dancing to my music.

Crowd: Embraced by the darkness

Kairi had to come up and sing the final part of the chorus with the fans, and turned out, she sang it perfectly!

Kairi makes me smile with her adorableness every single time. She made laugh too! She eventually ran off the stage before giving me a kiss.

Me: How about that! Give Kairi a round of applause!

They did as she was blushing red like a rose.

Me: You might wanna give me a moment to take it all in, because not only is this the biggest weekend of my life, but the most emotional weekend of my life.

Applauds were heard as I got started with my speech.

Me: You know, I'm not a big fan of how expensive New York is.

The crowd booed, but I was gonna tell them that I'm making the people an exception.

Me: However, since you people are the nicest around, I'll make you guys an exception.

That got them loving me again and I can continue.

Me: You already know, I've been mentored by Y2J but, I wanna take it all back to where I was a young kid and my father passed away from a DUI accident. WWE was the company I grew up watching and Chris Jericho was on fire back then and he still is. I heard that there was a meet and greet with him near Toronto, and I begged my mom to get tickets to meet him.

The audience laughed.

Me: I mean, I was on my knees with my hands folded until she says, "Alright. I'll buy the tickets, but you have to behave. If you do, I'll buy you an ice cream." Of course I promised and when we got to meet him, Chris freaking Jericho was the coolest mother-lover ever. We even chatted for a bit because, when I told him I was going to be a wrestler, he was all for it and gave me advice on how to be charismatic and try to stand out. And, believe you me, when I told him about my dyslexia, he immediately felt bad and knew what potential I had in the industry. He actually moved my mom and I to Florida, and he paid the expenses for the training in FCW, where WWE had its deal with Developmental for a tryout. When Chris told the trainers I was dyslexic, they went easy on me, except for one Bill DeMott and I don't wanna bring what he did in 2015 which was years ago.

The crowd didn't know about this and it was surprising to them.

Me: Chris paid all of the expenses and he said the only way I'll pay him back is if I listen to everything he said and I do everything he said. I said "Yes sir", and we got to training. He personally trained me and showed me the ropes. Chris was helping me improve and while I had a great time as a trainee in FCW, I wasn't booked correctly. I ended up requesting my release because not only was I wasted in developmental, I was wearing generic pink and purple trunks with pink and purple boots. I felt like I was John Cena in 2002! You don't believe me? Pull up the picture!

That got everyone laughing at the picture of me in the generic colored trunks. Kairi and her mother were giggling while everyone clapped and laughed.

Me: I know for a fact that if anyone tries to make me where them again, they're gonna pay the price!

That made everyone laugh and I wanted to continue.

Me: Anyway, before I signed with WWE, I had a stint in Japan...

I held up the underhanded too sweet gesture and that got everyone cheering and the male audience chanting.

Male crowd: Too sweet!
Whoop whoop!
Too sweet!
Whoop whoop!

Me: Yes, too sweet indeed!

Cheers were heard and I kept telling them about Chris helping me in wrestling.

Me: He was supportive of me traveling to Japan to hone my craft and skill set as I became a three time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and the leader of The Bullet Club!

That got everyone cheering so loud that I couldn't hear myself think until they calmed down.

Me: I will never forget how Chris Jericho impacted me, and especially all of you! Because as of now, allow me to introduce, Lé Champíon, my friend, my father figure, my mentor, ladies and gentlemen, please join me as I induct the G.O.A.T. into the WWE Hall of Fame, the one, the only, Y2J, CHRIS JERICHO!

Titantron: BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!

Everyone stood up and applauded as Chris came out with his wife and daughter as he was smiling like crazy. I was clapping and as he broke away from them, he hugged me and I hugged back. I was in tears but he cheered me up.

I walked off the stage to see him pull out his phone, so a video selfie with everyone involved and I had to be a part of it as well. When he put his phone away, Chris started tearing up. Hard.

Crowd(chanting): Thank you Jericho!

He calmed the people down as he was gonna speak.
