Athanasia's PoV:

"Princess would you like a glass of milk?" Lily asked me. "Yeah, but I don't want it cold" I replied "Sure, I'll heat it up for you" Lily said then left closing the door.

As soon I know that Lily was gone, I quickly got up and went to my bed and pull out two sacks filled with my treasures. I tied them in my thighs one in each. Since I overheard Lily talking to one of the maids about cleaning the whole palace, I'm pretty sure Yn would spill the beans about me hiding treasures here and I don't want that to happen.

'Done! It's heavy...but I have no choice. I'll go back and forth a few times like this' I thought as I got to bed. Lily gave me my milk and kissed me then left. Silence filled the air as I waited half an hour to be sure then got up and sneaked out my room.

'Ow, owie...it really hurt keeping them tied there' I thought 'I should've gain Yn's trust first, I know she'll help me but no point in crying over a spilled milk now'

I sneaked making sure no one was around then made a dash out the ruby palace and into the place that I found earlier. Knowing that it'll cause trouble if I hid the treasures inside the building seeing how well clean it is, I decided to hide them near in. Then it hits me, I didn't bring anything to dig with and if I use my hands Lily will surely find out.

I guess I have no choice, I'll just keep the hidden until tomorrow. I could ask Hannah for a toy shovel to use. I ran at full speed into the ruby palace and got to bed. I was really out of breathe when I laid down on my bed. 'Ah, I'm dying' I thought to myself. I heard the door creaked open and light footsteps.

"Princess it's to..." Lily stopped as she felt my face. "What is it?" Ask by someone. That voice...I'm so dead.

3rd person PoV:

Yn just looked at Lilian who was checking the princess' temperature. "It look likes she have a light fever" Yn said "Hng, the room is hot. There's too much sun" Athanasia replied. Yn just nooded her head as she walked closer to the princess. "I guess it's summer already.." she said as she looked down at Athanasia. "I'll pull the curtains up tomorrow" Lilian said.

"Athy wants to drink milk. Cold milk please" Athanasia said "You drank some before nap" Yn said. Yn sense something off as she looked down at the princess. 'Something isn't right here' she thought 'Did she met Claude or something. She's acting wierd'

Athanasia's PoV:

Few days later, I was able to go back and forth hiding my treasures without getting caught by Yn but I think she's getting close on finding out though. Curse that woman, she's too observant but if I keep acting like this I could never gain her trust. Anyways, I was walking around to the building that I saw few days back. 'Not a soul to been see as usual'  I thought as I looked around.

I won't go to the place where I hid my treasures so I went the other way only to be struck in the heart. Gold. Golden statues everywhere making my heart skip a beat and eyes widen. It's real gold. Everything in the palace is made from marble. There's so many of them, I guess no one will notice if I take some right?

Is this really gold? I bit one of the status to see if it's gold since Yn told me that if I bit a coin and it bends it's fake. So I guess the same thing with gold? Who knows that woman is too mysterious for my liking.

As I bit the golden statue, I didn't noticed someone was behind until I heard a voice. "What is this filthy bug doing in my palace?"

Yn's PoV:

I was washing the plates peaceful then suddenly dropped one on the floor making the other maids look at me. "That's strange, you never drop a plate before Yn" one of the maid said "Yeah, do you perhaps sense something wrong?" The other asked. I just looked down on the broken plate. What is this feeling. Is the princess alright.

After cleaning the mess I made, I quickly went out the kitchen. I walked around and came to the exit door of the ruby palace. I stood there for a good while. It's been five years since Athanasia came. Five years had already passed and during that five years I've never left the ruby palace even if the emperor ask of my presence I refuse to go. And here I am standing at the door.

I took a deep breath and walked out the ruby palace.

Athanasia's PoV:

What just happened? One moment I was biting a golden statue and the next I'm having tea with Claude!!!

I looked at food and they all look delicious. Then my gaze wen to Claude which I immediately looked away. Damn he's scary.

"I didn't knew you couldn't speak" he spoke "Well this is boring" he added. Am I going to die for not entertaining you?!

"Athy can talk" I said while smiling cutely. "Finally, I get to hear your voice" he replied as he looked at me with a bored eyes. "Why did you stay silent until now?" He asked. I don't know maybe that fact that you're scary and will kill me?

"Pardon me your majesty, but little girls around the princess' age are known to be shy" said the man with red hair "Is that so?" Claude said. Y-yeah, kids can be shy too...well scratch that even adults will go quite when they're around you. I think even Yn will.

Claude never left his eyes on my as I sat there smiling cutely while in the inside I'm crying. Lily, Yn save me to from this monster.

...

After I survive a tea with Claude, I was carry back to the ruby palace. While we were going there, I can't help but to think of what Claude said.

Flashback:
"Who taught you manners?" Claude asked me while I was trying so hard to enjoy the cake. "Lily and (nickname) did" I answered him. "(Nickname)?" He asked. I'm scared if I say Yn's name he'll get mad and kill me.

"I see, you are talking about Lilian York...and that witch" he said bluntly. Witch?! Yn is not a witch, you jerk!!!

"(Nickname) is not a witch!"

End of flashback

When we got to the ruby palace, everyone was happy to see me but angry at the mister that brought me here. Lily immediately took me from him and glared at the man. "His majesty said that he would come visit princess Athanasia in the near future" said the man. Eh?! Everyone was shocked at what the man said. Then the mood lighten up. What is this reaction? Half-scared half-happy?

Then everyone tense up as we a figure behind the man. "What's wrong?" He asked then turned around. There stood an angry Yn looked through the man's soul.

"Y-Yn...it's been awhile.." he tried to say it with confidence but failed. I guess even him is scared when Yn is angry. "Felix Robane, I would like to have a chat with you. Let's take a walk shall we?" Yn asked as she held the man in the arm while smiling. There's something about her smile that scare me but I won't help him, he left me alone with Claude.
