Yn's PoV:

"My, my, you look pathetic.."

I saw blurry figure stood in front of me. As much as I try to clear my vision, the figure is still blurry. All I can see was a man with brown hair.

"You wasted all your mana just to save that girl and what did you get in return?"

I try to speak but nothing came. 'Ehere am I? What happened?'

I then heard a distance voice calling my name.

"Yn!"

That voice...it's sound so familiar...

"Yn! Wake up!"

Felix? No... it's not Felix.. it's someone else..

"N/n, please wake up...Athy needs you..."

Princess Athanasia..

I opened my eyes and was blinded by the light. I let my eyes adjust and I saw princess Athanasia, Lilian and Felix beside my bed. 'What happened to me?'

3rd person PoV:

Athanasia was filled with joy when she saw Yn opened her eyes for the first time in the past two weeks. She immediately hugged her and started to cry.

"N/n! Don't do that again" she cried "You had all of us worried even Papa was worried for you" she added. The room was filled with silence as no one dared to speak a work. Yn just looked at Athanasia with disbelief in her eyes. 'There's no way Claude would be worry for me...right?' She thought as she looked at Felix.

"I...um..I'll go tell his majesty that you're awake" he said then quickly left the room. Yn looked around as Athanasia finally calmed down and released Yn from the hug. She noticed that she wasn't in her room or in the ruby palace. The place were full of paintings and pictures of the previous emperors. "Lilian" Yn called out "Where am I?"

Lilian and Athanasia looked at each other for a second then looked back at Yn. "You're in his majesty's palace" Lilian answered making Yn hung her mouth open. "Y-you're kidding" Yn said as she looked at Athanasia. "Right princess? Tell me this is a joke"

"It's not" said a voice making everyone looked at the door where Claude was standing and behind him was Felix. "You're in my room. I brought you here after you fainted"

The colors of Yn's face drained as she heard what Claude said and continued to ring over and over again in her mind. "Leave us alone, I need to talk to her" Claude commanded. Lilian took Athanasia and left the room with Felix.

The room was filled with silence as Yn just looked down on the blanket that was covering her lower half. She then noticed that she wasn't wearing the same clothes she did when she fainted. She was wearing a loose button-up white shirt that had three buttoned just underneath her collar bone. She blushed and immediately covered herself but a hand stopped her. She didn't noticed Claude walked towards her until he put his hand to stop her from covering her body.

"Your majesty" she called out as she looked up at Claude but immediately looked away from embarrassment. Claude grabbed both of Yn's hands and pushed her down the bed pinning both her hands in both side of her head. "You haven't answer me" he said as his jewel blue eyes pierced through her amethyst ones.

"Your majesty, please stop this instance" Yn protest as she tried to break free but Claude held her down gripping her wrists tighter. "I want my answer now" Claude said showing no interest of letting Yn go. " I can't okay!" Yn yelled taking Claude off guard for a split second. "I just can't" she said as tears started to form in her eyes. "And it's not because of Anastacius, it's because of princess Athanasia. She's the one that kept holding me back for all this years. I can't lose her and I won't. You would never know the pain of loosing all your love ones. My father never loved me! He left before I was even born!"

Claude just looked down on the crying girl as he slightly loosen his grip but tight enough so that Yn can't escape. "You took away the man that made me happy, the man that made me feel loved..you were right..I'm dumb enough to blindly follow him even if I hurt anyone, I'm dumb enough to still love him even though that he was clearly using me! I'm dumb enough to choose him instead of you!" Yn who was balling and crying, didn't realized that she just confessed her feeling to the man that was hovering over her. But she could care less right now. She can feel her heart aches as she looked at Claude in the eyes.

Claude just looked down at her then leaned in until their lips touched. It was a very tender kiss and was different when Anastacius kissed Yn. She slowly closed her eyes as she felt her body giving in to Claude's kiss. As she was about to kiss Claude back, a picture of Anastacius flashed through her mind.

"I love you so much"

Yn turned her head to the side breaking the kiss. " We..we can't do this your majesty.." she said. Claude just sighed and let go of Yn's wrists and sat down beside her. " What will it take for you to forget him?" He asked as he looked down at the floor. "I'm just here... always waiting for you.."

Claude stood up and walked out the room leaving Yn laying down on the bed. She touched her lips as she recall what just happened. "Claude.." she said quietly.
