Athanasia's PoV:

As I walk around the hallway of the ruby palace, I heard a loud thud making me flinch viciously. I got curious and followed where the sound was coming from. As I walk, the sound got louder and louder until it halted. I found myself standing in front of a big wooden door. As I reached for the doorknob, I heard someone call my name scaring me in the process.

"Princess" Lily called out as she walked towards me. "What are you doing here?" She asked as I look up to her. "I was looking for Yn" I answered "She's nowhere to be found"

THUD!

SLAM!

I looked at the door I front of me then to Lily. "What's behind that door?" I asked but Lily just picked me up and walked away from the door. "It's nothing to be concern about princess" she answered

Lilian's PoV:

I was running all over the place since Yn was having another blood issue. Felix and I were the only ones knew about her real condition. As I took a cup, I heard a loud thud. It's Yn. She can't handle it anymore. I quickly ran to her room but bumped into Felix on the way. I was surprised to see him alone since he was supposed to look after the princess which got me panicking.

"Where's the princess?" I asked him "The princess said she'll look around since Yn haven't came yet" he answered clearly not knowing the situation. " What's with the cup?" He asked as he pointed at the cup that was filled with blood. His eyes widen when he realized what was in the cup. "I'll take this to Yn" he said as he took the cup from my hand. "You go find the princess"

Yn's PoV:

It hurts. It hurts so bad. I feel like I'm being strangle. Blood....I need blood...

It's been few hours since I locked and chained myself to my room. My throat was burning up like hell and all I can think of is blood. I need to drink some now. As I tried to surpass my thirst, I heard someone walking to my door. The smell...the sweet, sweet aroma filled my nose bringing me to edge..It's a blood of a royalty...the sweetest taste of all Obelia empire..

Princess Athanasia.. that's all I can think of when I smell the scent...it got to be her...the smell is too familiar to me..it reminds me of Claude...no, not him but his older brother... Anastacius..oh, the sweet taste of his blood...How I miss it so much..

I took a deep breath as I close my eyes. 'Please princess...turn around and run..run from here..it's too dangerous..'

My head blotted up and I hit in against the wall. My wrists hurts from the tightness if the chains. Blood. I need it now!

Lilian where are you?!

What seems like eternity, I finally heard a gentle knock ok the door. "C-come in..." I managed to say as my throat was very dry. The door opened and quickly closed and I saw Felix standing in front of me holding a cup.

"You're getting worst and worst by the day" he said as he walked beside my bed. "Drink" he said as he put the cup to my mouth and I immediately drink it down. My ruby eyes turn back to amethyst as I sighed finally relieving my thirst. I closed my eyes as I breathe slowly but opened them quickly when I felt the chains around my wrists was loosen.

"What to you think you're doing?" I asked Felix while looking at him. He just smiled at me as he put down the cup to my night stand. "I can still hurt you" I warned him but he didn't seem to be bother by it.

" I know" he smiled as he sat beside me. "But you're still a friend and friends help each other" he added. My eyes got teary when I heard him. Friends? Is that what you see me as?

" The emperor...you should tell him about your condition" Felix suggested " He'll understand what you're going through"

I shook my head as I hugged my legs burying my face to my knees. " He'll never understand me...a monster.." I said quietly as tears rolled down my cheeks. "But he saw your eyes turn red before" Felix said "I know, he'll understand you.. please Yn.."

" It's useless Felix..." I sighed as I got out of bed. I went to my mirror and fixed my hair and tied it into a low bun. "Give up already.."

Two years later...

I was walking around the garden when I suddenly felt a huge mana around me making me be on high alert. I looked around and no one was there. Not a single trace of someone... Then a picture flash in my mind. A man with long black hair and red eyes with a beauty mark under hie left eye.

I held my head as I felt dizzy. Just as I was about to go down to the floor, I quickly turned around and grabbed an arm behind me and tackled down the man that wasn't there before. "Who are you?" I asked him and I twist his arm.

" Ow! Ow! Ow! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Asked the man. My eyes widen as I throughly inspect the man's face. Long black hair and red eyes with a beauty mark under is left eye. It was the same man that I kept seeing. "Answer me!"

"Wow.." said the man "Just wow.. this is how you greet me after not seeing each other for hundreds of years? " I was confused on what the man was saying but yet I felt like I met him before. "Did I really slept that long that you became a woman? Geez, this is such a pain"

I quickly let go of the man but that was a bad decision because the moment I did, I was pushed off the ground. The man stood up and dusted off his clothes. 'He's a magician'

The man looked at me with hie red eyes. "Seriously, your reflexes is too good for your own good" he sighed while I froze in the spot. He looks familiar...too familiar..

"Are you just going to lay there Azrail?"
