Yn's PoV:

It's been a few days since princess Athanasia met her father. And now here we are in front of the most tyrant emperor Obelia empire had ever had.

3rd person PoV:

"Lilian York, long time no see" Claude said as Lilian and Yn was bowing in front of him. "Blessings and glory upon the sun of the Obelia empire" Lilian replied but Yn kept her head bowed.

"I haven't been able to pay attention to my one and only daughter due to my duties at court" Claude said "But still, Athanasia has grown into such healthy child. The credits belongs to you" he added. "Thank you, your majesty but I'm not the only one that helped the princess growing up" Lilian replied "Yn did as much as I did helping her"

Claude just looked at Yn who just kept her head bowed. Athanasia couldn't help but to feel bad at Yn since she's being ignored ever since they came to Claude. Claude then stood up making everyone tense up. He thn walked towards Yn stopping in front of her. "Lift your head up witch" Claude commanded.

'Again with the witch?! Yn is not a witch!!!' Athanasia thought as she kept her eyes at the two adults beside her. Yn slowly raised her head but avoided eye contact from Claude. "Blessings and glory upon the sun of the Obelia empire" Yn said quietly. Claude just stood there with his eyes on her, scanning her.

"Daddy, (nickname) said that you two were close friends" Athanasia said trying to loosen the tension in the room. Claude and Yn just looked at Athanasia shocked while Felix just looked away trying to hold his laugher. "Did she now?" Claude asked as his gaze returned to Yn.

"N-no your majesty" Yn protested "I never said such thing to the princess" she added as she was already panicking. She could feel her cheeks burn up as she kept her eyes averted from Claude. "I was the one that told the princess about you and Yn's past" Lilian immediately jumped in and help Yn. Athanasia just looked at Yn and Claude. 'Did I just messed up?' she thought 'Did I just lose my trump card against Claude?'

As Yn kept her eyes from looking at Claude, she felt two big warm hands in her cheeks making her finally look at him. Everyone inside the room tense up more. "Your majesty, w-what are you doi-ah!" Yn couldn't finish what she was saying since Claude pinch her cheeks making her scream in pain. "As expected, your cheeks are still the same" Claude said as he continued to pinch Yn's cheeks pulling it outwards in both directions. "It's still chubby"

'What did he just say?!' Athanasia was shocked as she watch the scene unfold in front of her. Claude, who is the tyrant emperor of the Obelia empire was pinching and pulling Yn's cheeks. Claude just looked nonchalant about it while Yn who was already crying from the pain as Claude continued the assault. Lilian and Felix just looked away covering their mouths. 'Why isn't anyone helping her?!' Athanasia thought while she looked at Felix and Lilian.

"Your majesty, please let go-ah!" Yn cried while looking at Claude with teary eyes. "Daddy, your hurting (nickname)" Athanasia said as she gently pulled on Claude's clothes. Claude finally let go and Yn immediately held both of her cheeks. "It hurt so bad" she sobbed while Lilian was rubbing her shoulder trying to comfort her. "Forgive me for my rudeness" Claude spoke making the two women look at him. "Old habits die hard"

Athanasia's PoV:

I don't know what to say anymore after hearing what Claude just said. They ARE close friends....

I looked at Claude and he had the same reaction as always. Then I looked at Yn. And boy was she red as a tomato. I looked at Felix who was smiling at Yn but suddenly looked away when Yn glared daggers at him. Now that I remembered, in the story of the "Lovely Princess", Yn and Claude were married but never liked each other. The only reason they got married is because Jennette ask Claude to marry Yn. But in the end Yn ended up loosing her head when she claimed Athanasia is innocent and fought against Claude.

"However, from now on, I will be looking on the princess' well being" Claude said making everyone look at him. "There will be no need to worry" he reassured.

Yn's PoV:

What the hell is wrong with you Claude?! You ignored your daughter for five years! Five years! And now you're just going to take her from us?! Did you read a book about how to be a good father or something because last time I checked, you had no idea to father Athanasia.

I just looked at Claude then to Athanasia. "Starting today, Princess Athanasia will be treated as a proper princess" he said. As I looked at Athanasia, I couldn't help but to feel sad. This will be the last time I'll see her. "And you witch, will be the princess' personal maid"

Huh?

What?!

Claude you idiot! What the hell is wrong with you?! For five years you've tried to get me out of the ruby palace and failed and now you're using your daughter to keep me from staying there? You heartless bastard!!!

"You mean, (nickname) will be with me?" Athanasia asked Claude cutely. Such an adorable kid, she got Diana's looks that's for sure. I just sighed and went towards the princess and crouched down to her height. "Of course princess, I will be with you as I promised your mother" I smiled at her. Athanasia then jumped on me and hugged me.

Athanasia's PoV:

Yn, you have no idea how happy I am right now. My trump card. Thank you so much.

Few days later...

"I think you got chubbier when I last saw you" Claude said as he was looking down at me. What is wrong with this guy? It's been few days since you last saw me. "Hehehe, papa looks pretty too" I said to him acting cute.

Yn's PoV:

I don't if I'll laugh or not... Athanasia is such a cute girl but everytime she talks to Claude, I couldn't help but to laugh at from the inside. As I looked at the two, I can't help but to notice that athanasia's legs were trembling. Well she isn't the only one, I was scared too when I met him... scratch that, I'm still scared at Claude.

"Follow me" Claude told to Athanasia. 'That's not how you talk to your kid Claude' I thought as I sigh in relief. "I was on my way to that lake. Get ready and join me" he added. I just looked at him dumbfounded as he walks away.
