Sorrows and Tears (WMMAP)

"Claude!!!" Yn yelled as she charged towards the emperor. She cast spells and caused them to fire at Claude who easily deflected it. Felix drew his sword and stood in front of the emperor. "You bastard" Yn yelled before being restrained by Lilian York, a close friend of her and Diana.

"Yn please calm down" she pleaded as she held Yn tightly hoping that it'll somehow stop her from attacking the emperor. "Yn you have to calm down" Felix said. He didn't want to hurt his friend but being a knight, protecting the emperor comes first.

"I'll kill you!....I'll kill you" Yn yelled as she tried to break free from Lilian. "Diana.....I.. couldn't save her..." She sobbed as her body relaxed and broke down. "My only friend.."

Claude just looked at Yn with cold eyes. "So you decided to crawl out of the hellhole you were in" he said making Yn looked up at him. "You!..you killed them!" She yelled then shook off Lilian and charged towards Claude. Felix dropped his sword and tackled her down and put one of her arm behind her back. "You need to calm down" he said "Attacking the emperor will charge of treason"

Yn just looked up at Claude. Her eyes were ruby and her fangs were slightly showing. "How pathetic" Claude said then picked up Felix's sword and raised it to Yn. Lilian suddenly jumped in between Claude and Yn and knelt on the ground. "Please your majesty, I beg you not to kill Yn" she begged "She swore that she'll take care of your daughter"

Claude just looked down at Lilian as he put down the sword. "You got some guts" he said then looked at Yn and noticed that her eyes changed back to amethyst. Yn's face soften as she looked at Lilian. 'I don't want to lose you too Lily' she thought. "Very well then" Claude decided "We'll see how long that thing lives"

Yn jolted up from her bed asshe was breathing heavily. She'd been having dreams of her crying in Anastacius' arm. 'That dream again' she thought. She looked out the window and it was dawn. She got up and got ready for work. It's been five years since the incident on the ruby palace. Five years had passed when her only family died and left a child for her to take care of.

Athanasia's PoV:

I was running on the hallway when I saw Hannah. "Nanny, Nanny, Athy wants chocolate" I told her as I sticked out both of my hands. Hannah just looked at me with an awe expression. "My sweet princess, you'd like some chocolate?" She asked "Yeah, Athy loves chocolate. Athy wants a lot!" I answered

"You like chocolate that much, your highness?" Hanna asked "Athy loves chocolate. Love it this much" I told her as I open my arms as wide as I can to show her how much I love chocolate. "Athy loves Hannah too"

Just then we heard a voice that made us both flinch. "Hannah, what are you doing?" Ces asked as she stood in front of us. "Ces" Hanna called out. I could tell she's getting nervous just by looking at her. "Head maid Lilian told you. You can't give the princess snacks as you please" Ces said "It's just one piece" Hannah protest "But you won't be the only one who giving her snacks" Ces replied.

I pulled on Ces' apron startling her. I looked at her with puppy eyes. "But Athy wants chocolate" I said to her. "No, your highness" she replied "I really can't". I continue to give the same look and not even a second, she gives me chocolate. "You can't tell Lilian, okay?" She asked "Thank you nanny" I thanked her and kissed her cheeks making Hannah jealous. "My! Ces you came here on purpose to steal my thunder"

As the two maid continued argueing, I ran inside the ruby palace. "Where are you going princess?" A maid asked me. "To pick flowers" I replied to her. As I was about to exit the palace, she stopped me and wiped my mouth. "You should wipe your mouth. Did you enjoy the chocolate?" She asked. 'Oh, I'm being such a kid' I thought. "You have to keep it a secret" I told her. "Yes princess"

I looked at my hands and it has chocolate in it. I could just wipe it off on my dress but...

...

'I should clean off at the fountain'

I went to the fountain and clean my hands. As I was cleaning, I slip but caught myself. I looked at my reflection in the water. 'How pretty, she's adorable' I thought.

Roses are red, violets are blue...hmmn? I looked around me as I was picking flowers. "Wait, where am I?" I asked myself. I got lost again. As I looked around, I saw a nearby building. "It's there" I said as I ran towards the building only to stop as I got there. 'Huh? What's this?' I thought as I walked around. 'This isn't the ruby palace. How far did I walk?'

As I walked around the place, I noticed that no one was there or even using the place and yet the place is very clean and well maintained. Then an idea popped on my head. 'If no one's here, I suppose I could us it?'  This is where I can hide my riches. I can't really hide many it the ruby palace since there's a sharp nosed maid named Yn. She always find out where I hide my treasure but promised not to tell anyone. And not to mention that she can use magic.

Lilian told me that Yn had been taking care of me since I was a baby but I knew it was a lie. Sure she'll be there but she never really got near me to see her face until I was two. Her eyes were very pretty. It's the same color as one of the gems I collected. Amethyst.

And I knew she doesn't like Claude also, I mean she was the lover of the previous emperor so hating Claude just comes naturally for her since Claude killed the love of her life. So Yn and I can team up to defy Claude. She could even help me escape this place as long as I gain her trust enough that she'll actually step foot out of the ruby palace but for some reason she doesn't want to. I wonder why.
