3rd person PoV:

Yn, Felix and Lilian just stood near the lake. "Your majesty, I worry the princess being around water is..." Lilian was scared and so does Yn. "What's there to worry about when she's with me?" Claude asked making Lilian immediately shut up. Yn felt Athanasia tugging at her skirt as she looked down on her. "B-but..."

"Don't you want to come join me?" Claude asked his daughter. Yn just watched there unable to do nothing. "Yep, Athy wants to go to papa too" Athanasia answered with a bright smile on her face.

Yn's PoV:

As Claude lifted Athanasia an put her inside the boat, I can tell that the princess was holding her breathe. My poor princess...

After Claude put Athanasia in, the boat started moving until we can't see them anymore. I just sighed as I watched them go.

"You really take it seriously when it comes to the princess" Felix said making me look at him. "Why is that?" I asked him and he only chuckled. What the hell is so funny?

"Well, the princess told me how observant and sharp you are" Felix replied "I guess you never really changed. You're still the chubby cheeks girl I knew since birt-ah!" I didn't let Felix finish his sentence as I stepped on his foot. "Call me chubby again and see what happens" I threatened as I kept on stepping on his foot.

Few minutes later, I saw Claude and Athanasia returning and I can feel my chest loosen a bit. 'Thank goodness the princess is safe' I thought.

3rd person PoV:

Athanasia saw a blue lotus in the water and she reached and tried to grab it. As she was reaching it, she fell off the boat and into the water sending Yn, Felix and Lilian into panic. "Princess Athanasia!" Yn yelled as she ran into the water. She could feel some of her mana leave her body as she was in the water but she could care less as her priority is on saving the princess. Yn was more shocked at seeing how relaxed and laid back Claude was as he watch his daughter struggle to keep herself afloat.

As Claude reached and grabbed Athanasia, Yn saw the tentacles that was wrapped around Athanasia's leg and using magic, sliced off the tentacles. Claude brought Athanasia back on land and immediately, Lilian came to her checking of she was okay. Athanasia just hugged Lilian as she was scared.

"Felix" Claude called out "Yes your majesty?" Felix replied. "Teach Athanasia how to swim" Claude commanded "It would be a shame if the emperor's daughter drowned to death in a mere lake" he added as he started to walk away.

Yn just looked at him with hatred in her eyes. As she was about to get out of the water, she felt something wrap around her wrist and ankle making her look back and saw the same tentacles that was wrapped around the princess. "Felix!" She yelled as she was dragged in to the water as soon as she yelled.

Felix was about to go and rescue Yn when he heard Claude's voice. "Let's go Felix" he said making Felix look at him in disbelief. "But your majesty, Yn just got pulled into the water" Felix tried to reason but Claude just looked at him the started walking. "Don't lag behind Felix"

Yn's PoV:

I was being dragged deep in the water as I struggle to break free but the lake was sucking my mana out and weakening my body. The longer I stay in here, the less mana I have.

Flashback:

"Claude! Claude!" I yelled as I struggle to keep myself afloat. I fell into the lake while trying to get the flower that I dropped when I had a boat ride with Claude.

Claude didn't hesitate to jump and rescue me. When we were in the land, I can feel my body go limbed. My body felt heavy as I was out of breathe. I saw my mother running towards me and Claude then my vision blurred and I passed out.

End of flashback

3rd person PoV:

Felix was following Claude as they walk through the empty hallway. He couldn't help but to worry about Yn. "If you're worry about that witch, don't waste your time" Claude spoke as he continued walking. "She can handle herself"

"I know she can your majesty but still..." Felix trailed off. "Still what?" Claude asked as he stopped but didn't look at Felix. "Still...her body can't stay in that lake for too long..she won't drown but die in sheer exhaustion" Felix answered. "If you really are worry for her then why don't you-"

SLAP!

As Claude turned around to face Felix, he felt a sharp pain on his cheeks making his eyes widen. In front of him stood Yn soaking wet as her brown wet hair dangled on her shoulders, her skin pale and she look angry. "Y-your majesty" Felix was about to interfere but Claude stopped him. "Leave us" he commanded and everyone except for Yn left.

"How dare you!" Yn yelled as Claude just looked at her in the eyes. "How can you look so relaxed while seeing your daughter drown?! Are you out of your mind?!"

Claude, who wasn't listening to a thing Yn was yelling just stared at her, her body to be specific. "Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" Yn asked as she looked at where Claude was looking and soon enough, her cheeks burned up as Claude was looking at her chest. She realized that her clothes were soaked so it hugged around her body more than usual showing her curves.

"Your majesty!" She yelled in embarrassment making  Claude finally looked at her in the face. He reached and grabbed a strand of her hair and brought it near his face. "How long?" He asked making Yn confused. "Pardon me?" She asked. "How long will you stay as his puppet?" He questioned. "You've always love him and no one else. You always do what he tells you do even if it hurts others, you'll do it because you know it pleases him"

Yn just looked away as she knew who Claude was talking about. Anastacius. The man she fell in love with. The man she gave everything she had. Just thinking about their time together hurts her badly. She never moved on even though Anastacius wasn't her first love.

"Yn, I'm here" Claude spoke as he grabbed both her arms and holding on to them tightly afraid to lose her again. No, he doesn't want to lose her again. Not to anyone.

"Why can't you forget him? He hurt you and you still dumbly follow him" Yn was shocked at Claude's sudden show of his emotions. "Why can't you understand that I'm just here for you? When will you stop and choose your freedom from him?" He asked as he felt flood of emotions wash over him. He hated it. He hate seeing her so lifeless. He hate seeing her eyes empty when it supposed to be full of joy and happiness.

Yn just looked away unable to look at Claude in the eyes. She was scared to break in front of him. All she want to do is to run away from this place but she couldn't. Her promise to Diana, her only family, held her back for so long. All she could think of is Athanasia and nothing else.

"I want you to have your own choice" Claude said "Choose your freedom...choose me" he added. Yn felt her legs shaking as he vision starting to blurry. Claude noticed how pale she looked and started shaking her. "Yn?" He called out. Yn's legs just gave up as she closed her eyes and fainted.

"Yn!"
