Trapped in the Past

Chapter 16

"Caleb…. you don't need to do that…" I said. I gave a faint smile and sat beside Uther. Until now, it was still hard for me to take him as my father in this time. I was just eating when suddenly I had a premonition.
 
There was a man lurking outside of the castle door and not only that, the man was using magic. He was trying to get into the castle door and not only that, he was using magic to hurt the guards.  Once I was back to my normal self, I notice, Arthur and Uther looking at me. Worried face came from Uther while annoyed looking face came from Arthur.
 
"Are you alright, Katarina?" Uther asked.
 
"Yes… i… just need some air…excuse me…" I lied as I walked towards Merlin. Caleb called me but I ignored him. I hold on to Merlin's hand and dragged him out from the hall.
 
"Merlin, I have got a premonition and I saw a man using magic. I saw him outside of the castle and he is hurting all the guards. All of the guards were paralysed from head to toe. " I explained. I gasped as I got another a premonition. "oh my god! Merlin, he is close!" Then  we heard food steps. After that a face. Shocked and helpless was what I was feeling.
 
"Hmm oh my… you are so beautiful My lady… this time, you could not ran away…" The man said. 
 
"Shut up!" I screamed. With one swing of my right arm, the man was thrown onto a wall.  I turned to face Merlin, "merlin, I need you to get Arthur and the knights.."
 
"No!  I am not leaving you here… this is dangerous…" Merlin disagreed.
 
"Merlin please……"I begged. it took a while for him to agree. "Please hurry.. I'm scared if he woke up…" he just nodded and ran.  There I stood, worried if he woke up and I need to attack him. That was fine but my problem was, what if I was caught using magic.
 
I looked around the place and I saw a vase. Using my magic, I let it float on top of that man's head. My arm were in position.  I was waiting for five minutes now and my arm was getting tired. Well thank goodness, he moved meaning he was going to be conscious anytime soon. So when he was trying to get up, I released the vase and let it smashed onto his head.  With that big bang, footsteps became heavier. I stepped back from the man. Then Arthur came with his knights. And not so surprising, Caleb was there.
 
"You did that?" Caleb asked.
 
"erm… throw that vase on his head? yea.." I replied.
 
"Why didn't YOU came to us?" Uther asked, as he walked towards me and pulled me into a hug.  I pushed him away from me gently.
 
"Because I know you will not believe me and thinking im just drawing attention…" I said that looking at Arthur.  Then I faced Merlin, "Thank you Merlin…" I smiled. Merlin just smiled.
 
Uther then ordered the knights to bring the man to the dungeon while Arthur stayed behind looking at me. Then, it was just me and Arthur, "I am sorry…" I did not answer because I was not so sure what to reply to him. "maybe you are not as bad as I thought you were. I wish we could be brother and sister again…." he said smiling. I smiled too. Suddenly, I just hugged him. Pretty sure I caught him of guard.
