Trapped in the Past

Chapter 19

I woke up with a massive headache. The first face was Harry. Then Hermione and Ron. I could not believed what I had seen. Was not very sure if that was real also. Harry was the first I hugged. "oh my god… how how?" I asked. He just smiled and looked at Hermione and Ron.
 
Then Harry looked at me and suddenly a tear flow down his cheek,"Oh my god… I have seen what you have done Delilah.. and with what you have done, everyone that was dead were alive. Mum and dad are alive. Remus and Tonks are happily married with Ted. Fred is still alive and George has his ears…"Harry had a faint laugh. "but… someone took your place… It’s a girl. She's my younger sister and… her name is Elizabeth." he frowned.
 
Didn't I realised I was in a place which was so foreign to me. The place was so green and it smell so fresh. Seems like it was in the 1400's. It was awfully quiet. With one simple twig break, we could hear it. "I know…."then I started crying. "how.. how did you three do this?"
 
"we did a spell which Hermione found and we want to try to reach to you..This is the only way for us to see of you are alright and see what changes."Ron explained. " And…If there is a way to bring you back to our time…."
 
"There is no way…." I looked down. "I am a new person, guys…Now…My name is …" I continued but Harry cut me.
 
"Katarina Pendragon…" Harry murmured. "we know… History was changed in our time… we know that you… you lost your power…too.. Somehow, we remembered you when everything changes. But mum, dad, remus, sirius and the other don’t know about you." I did not say anything.
 
All of a sudden, Harry started to be short of breaths. "harry!!" I started to scream. I kept on calling but Harry did not seems to respond to me. Hermione and Ron started to panic. Seems like their spell did not seems to work well. Then I felt my head hurt more. Double to be precise. Then my vision turned blurry. Hermione , Ron and Harry were slowly drawn away from me.. "Harry!!!!" I screamed and that was when I jolted up from my bed.
 
Arthur was suddenly running towards me and sat on my bed on the left. His hands cupped my face and looked into my eyes, "Katarina… Thank god you wake up. " I was confused. How long was I knocked out? I gave him a faint smile which he was not very convinced. "you screamed a name… the name is Harry…" I looked down, trying to avoid answering that. He lifted my head and continued," Who is he? Did he hurt you?"
 
I shook my head. "No.. I never seen him…" I lied. Arthur was not convinced. "really….Well.. it's.. it's just a nightmare. Probably nothing. "The door of my chambers barged opened. Then father came in with his worried face.
 
"Katarina….you woke up…" he hugged me tight. "Caleb said you fainted…while you both are talking..Then Caleb brought you home." That was not true at all.
 
"No.. father.. There were bandits. They attacked us. One hit me in the head and then I knew I fainted. How can Caleb not tell you that?!" I said, slightly fuming. Father surely did not seems surprise. "you knew? you knew and you pretended that you don’t… What?!" I was confused. Why would he do what he did?
 
"Katarina.. I am sorry… The last time I see bandits trying to get you, you got soooo scared. Why don’t you rest and have food… I will make Gwen bring food for you…" He said. Looking at Arthur, he instructed , "Arthur, bring your men and patrol the land. Make sure you find the bandit who did this to her." He nodded his head and walked out. Then father left. While later, Merlin came in with food. I smiled when I saw him.
 

"I bring food. Gwen is rather busy at the moment. "He placed the tray of food on the table and stood at the table. I got off the bed and walked towards the table and took a bite of the sausage. "I am sure you found out whose name I yelled." I uttered. Merlin acknowledged by giving me a short hum. "Harry is my brother. I am not very sure if it was true or just a dream. It felt so real. I felt his touch. he said the future changes.. About Arthur.. but suddenly…. he was suffocating… next think I knew they just faded away."
 
"I wish I could help you, but I don’t know what to do…"Merlin said truthfully. Did not know what to say, I just stay silent. "Delilah… you are unconscious for 2 days. Uther was very worried. Caleb …. he…."
 
"He… what?" I asked. "Not worried?" again I asked. "I don’t trust Caleb…" Well that made Merlin kind of surprise. Then there was the silence. Staring at the wall blindly, weight resting on my right leg and left hand on my hip. I grabbed a sausage and stuff it in my mouth. Then chewing it for a very long time. Merlin called me but I did not even realised. I took another sausage.
 
"Delilah!" Merlin yelled. I jumped and turned around.
 
Out of breath, I replied, "What Merlin?."
 
"nothing.. you… you didn’t reply me when I call… are you alright?"Merlin asked. I shrugged and gave him a faint smile.
 
Hours past by and it was dinner time. It got really boring to just stay in my room. so I left and went to the dining hall. There, father, Arthur and Caleb sat, having dinner. It was a surprise for them. When I saw Caleb, my first thought was, 'why is he still here? shouldn’t he be gone…' I went to sit next to Arthur.
 
"Good evening…" I greeted.
 
"Good Evening…" they said.
 
"Are you alright Katarina…? "father asked.
 
"Yes… I am alright…" I said. That was not entire true."erm.. Caleb…" I called. He looked at me. "Hm.. why are you still here?" I gave an insincere smile.
 
"Well I'm worried. about you…."Caleb said. That was not very touching. not for me… I smiled. Caleb did not seems to be what people think of him. Not for me. I felt he was keeping a secret from everybody. I had seen that face in my room earlier. He was not worried like what he had just said. Something was fishy and if he did not leave within two days, then he was up to something.
