Merlin was busy by then. I stood up from my seat and walked out from the room. I sighed. There was no way I could get back to my room on my own. I never master the way to my chamber. The day had already turning to night and I was very tired. Nervous, that was what I was feeling. Today was my birthday. And it was Harry's too. Yet, I could not celebrate with him. Since I could not find my way back, I just took a stroll around the castle and if I am lucky, I might reached to my chambers. I looked at my gown and it was already dirty and crumpled. Well all of that happened when I walked to the lake and lie down on the grass.
The sound of steps started to get louder. Then followed by a yell. "Katarina!" it was Arthur. I sighed. what now? Would he ever stopped torturing me with those hurtful words! I do have feelings... I spun around and looked at him. "Where do you think you are going, Katarina.." he asked in those deep demanding voice.
"Why do you hate me so much ?" I asked. There was always a limit and I could not stand his criticism. So I looked into his eyes and asked him. "Tell me what I have done that displeases you... Tell me.. please... so I can stop annoying you...or even better, just kill me." I could feel tears were forming.
Arthur sighed and replied at me, "I hate that you are acting nice in front of people. Pretending to be a changed girl. a sweet girl but we both know this doesn't last long. remember the time, before you are gone missing? you act all sweet and next I see you leave with Gregory. And lastly, you are not going to manipulate my servant. He may be a servant, but he is my friend. If i could kill you right now, i would have done it. You are just a waste of space. Don't even know how you can be my sister." And with that, a tear rolled down my cheeks.
All I could think of, who was Gregory?! " IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK I AM DOING, ARTHUR? I SWEAR I AM NOT PLAYING ANYTHING. SECONDLY, I DON'T KNOW WHY I DID WHAT I DID WITH GREGORY. LASTLY, I WILL NOT MANIPULATE MERLIN. I know he is a very nice man. I am not like that girl anymore... you have my word..." Somehow, he did not replied me. So I added, " please... give me a chance..."
"I give you a lot of chances but you blew it!" he ended our conversation by walking away from me. I closed my eyes and sighed. There, I stood alone. where was my servant to bring me back to my chambers? I was lost. I was lost for words.
"You don't know how to get to your chambers...arent you?" the voice came from behind. I turned around and saw Merlin. He smiled. I giggled but I nodded. Then he lead me back. After a few time, walking in the same direction, I think I will managed to get back on my own one day. I thanked him when I reached my chambers.
When I was in there, I saw Gwen preparing the bath and my gown. "Hello Gwen..." I greeted her. She greeted back and gave a sweet smile. She left me once she had prepared the bath. I slipped the dirty clothing and went in straight for the hot bath.
It did not take me forever to get ready. Though the gown was very long. The gown was in red, with long dramatic sleeves, and sequins sew at the front chest area. I wore a red sparkling heels and my hair was braided .
I walked into the hall all by myself and stared by all of them. The person who caught my attention was Merlin. When we looked at each other, I saw that huge smile spread across his face. I could not help but to smile back at him. He looked so cute when he smiled. Gwen was busy attending the king. Sometime I wonder, why be my servant. Not like I need one... I could handle myself. I am a fighter. Caleb walked towards me and spoke in a loud voice, "Attention everyone, the princess has arrive..." I blushed because I did not like attention like that. Not like all of them cheer for me. I caught Arthur's reaction. Arthur rolled his eyes.
