Trapped in the Past

Chapter 14

*Delilah
With my long gown being dragged across the floor, I allowed Merlin to touch me and brought me to Gaius. The people will think I was out of my mind, letting a peasant to touch me. But one thing they did not know was Merlin was the most powerful sorcerer of all time.  I received stares from the guards. As I walked pass them, I felt their eyeball followed my direction. Merlin on the other hand was facing front. We were just walking when suddenly I had a flashed of the future. Future in this time. I saw Uther walking with Caleb, furious and were walking towards us. I grabbed Merlin's jacket and pulled him towards me and I brought him to a dark corridor, behind a door. Then, the voice of Caleb were heard, "I swear that peasant was dragging Katarina out from her chambers! That peasant needs to be punished." Merlin and I were very close together. Our face were a few inches away.  Merlin looked into my eyes, and I could already sense his message. I enlarged my eyes, in a way to explain to him I got my visions. But all I knew he probably did not understand me. As Caleb voice drifted away, I gently push Merlin away from me, a gesture to tell him it was time to continue walking.
 
Merlin pushed the door opened and there I saw Gaius. He looked a little terrified. Probably because I was my 'past'. "good day Gaius… yes, I know in your eyes, I am a spoilt little princess but I am sure that that was a history that was made when I arrived in this time. " I explained. There, they stared at me like I was an alien. "hmm.. never mind.. Merlin, did you explained to Gauis?" I asked Merlin. Merlin looked like he was out of breath but he just nodded his head. He walked towards me and brought me to the chair opposite Gaius. I gave him a smile, even though I knew it will be hard to change his attitude towards me.
 
"alright… I have found something about you…" Gaius started. I looked at him and nodded. "Here, legend said there was a woman who carries powers of telekinesis, premonition and to freeze time. However for century there is no sign of this woman until you came. Prophecy had also mention that there will be a time traveller who came to this time to fix her current problem. However, with her presence things will change. Big threats, on the other side were vanished. But there will still be evil trying to rule Camelot." he explained. "Some people call this woman a threat but some call her a guardian angel…" Merlin looked at me and then back to Gaius. "People thought this woman as a threat because she can harm people  with her telekinesis and her power to freeze but the others thought it is also a blessing.. to make this world a better place."
 
"but… like what you said, it's a legend…" i.. I don’t want people to see me as a threat… no…" I spoke nervously. I was worried that I might be the next Morgana or Voldemort.   there is no way I am turning into them. Merlin, almost certainly was worried about me. He had his hand on my shoulder and pat it, consoling me.
 
"everything will be fine if you promise me you will not use your magic in Camelot."Merlin said.
 
"Somehow…legend did not say she is a princess." Gaius added. I looked up at him then to Merlin. "MyLady…"gaius added but I cut him.
 
"Please just call me delilah…." I replied. "Hmm I mean.. katarina…." but as I just finished talking, the door barged open. There Caleb and Uther stood. Both looked angry and were staring at Merlin. "Caleb, if  you are going to insult Merlin, then keep it to yourself. Merlin is worried about me because I .. nearly fainted…" That was went Uther walked towards me and sat next to me and put his arm around me and pulled me towards him.
 
"You should have came home earlier…"Uther said and then he continued, "Caleb said you walked with Merlin.." then Uther stared at Merlin, preparing to scream. But that was when I stopped him.
 
"I WANT to walk father… don’t blame him please…." I added. "Father… hmm I will be fine.. you can do whatever thing you were doing before." I said with a giggle which I  did not mean it.
 

Alright… alright…. please rest after this.. I will ask Gwen to wake you up in the evening. for dinner.." Uther added and he walked towards the door. Caleb unfold his arms and looked at me. he winked and told me he would be waiting for me.
 
Once they left, Merlin looked at me and asked,  "Did you get a premonition?"  I smiled and nodded.
