A civilised meeting.

On the way back I get a call from Bailey so I answer it on my car's bluetooth. "Hey what's up?" I ask. "Nothing really, I just wondered if you wanted to meet up in town this evening for dinner and meet Josh properly?" I put my indicator on and turn off towards my house. "Yeah sure i've got no plans, what time?" He thinks for a minute and replies. "Is half past six alright?" I slow down as I get to my house. "Yeah that's fine, should I drive to your's first?" I pull into my driveway. "Yeah sure, i'll leave you to get ready now, see you soon." I say goodbye to Bailey and walk into my house.

I hop in the shower and get clean, getting covered in soapy foam before washing it all off and standing in the water for a while. I hop out, dry my hair, put my semi permanent dye on my fringe and walk out. I grab some clothes and put them on after applying aftershave and deodorant. I look at myself in the mirror. Good enough. I put some shoes on and hop back in my car.

6:15, I have 15 minutes so I drive as fast as I can to Baileys. I finally pull in the driveway at 6:38, only 8 minutes late. I head to the front door and knock the thick heavy brass knocker. Bailey's house is a huge old brick farmhouse, it's the kind of house me and him have always wanted, somewhere where you can live out of the way of everyone, me and Bailey share a lot of our ambitions, that's why we're such good friends.

The door opens and I get greeted by a small excited black and tan Schnauzer with a tight hug, he's a bit smaller than me so it's a bit weird being hugged by him as I'm used to Grant. I look up from him and see Josh. He's dressed up nicely in a plain white shirt and Black pants, Bailey is the same. "Hi Josh" he nods and smiles at me. I have a plain white shirt but dark blue pants, it goes well with my paws and hair.

"Can we take your car?" Bailey asks "Yeah sure, why if you don't mind me asking?" I start to walk to my car, Bailey and Josh either side of me. "It's just a little less obvious if you know what i mean?" I nod and open the rear door for him, Josh hops in on the other side and I close Bailey's door when he's in.

I start the car and when I'm out of the gate I start to drive towards Southampton. "So Josh what do you do for work?" I ask as I drive. "I work as a lawyer, this little guy wants me to quit because we have enough money and he misses me too much." Bailey sits up and frowns at Josh. "I did not say I want you to quit! I said it's your choice!" Josh snickers. "I know you want me to quit, it's cute that you miss me so much." Bailey makes a small childish tantrum noise. "I said it's your choice not to quit!" I roll my eyes. "Calm down back there, it's like i have two misbehaving pups."

Bailey turns to me. "Don't ge-" Josh turns his head to him and kisses him. "Thank you Josh."

I turn the radio on and drive as the two continue to kiss. "Hey guys i don't mind kissing but don't fuck in my car please." Bailey blushes and breaks away from Josh. "why would i do that?" I look in the mirror "I'm not saying you would" Josh snickers and turns to me. "Can't promise it." Bailey retracts away "Eww Josh don't be gross." He smirks and nuzzles Bailey. "I know you want it pup." I let out a small "Ehem" to get them to stop, i succeed and nearly make it to town when I heard Josh start to coo over Bailey. At the next traffic light I stop and look to the back of the car, I look at a sleeping Schnauzer resting his head on his Boyfriend's shoulder. I smile and look back to the road. "What restaurant was it again?" Josh looks up from Bailey "Solent waters Steakhouse, Restaurant & Bar" I nod and soon we arrive, Josh wakes up his sleepy boyfriend and I hop out of the car.

Soon we are sitting in a relatively medium sized restaurant looking over the water and docks, the sun calmly setting, sliding slowly into it's sheets we call the horizon. On the balcony a couple sit, enjoying a drink in the evening's warmth. A precious moment they may never have time for in future as I notice the small female cat is at least 7 month pregnant. I look around at the couples enjoying their meals and wine, some old, some young, many species, many colors. I set my eyes in front of me and look on at a happy pair of dogs, sat paw in paw with their heads together, smiling wide.

Soon the waiter comes, Bailey orders some wine and I have a glass, we order our food and eat. The perfect and calm summer evening shifting slowly to night.

Hey guys! I know i said i'd finish this as soon as i finished the last one... basically fell asleep on the floor. I'm now on holiday so I have time to do this in the evenings and at night. Sorry for lack of updates, see you fluff butts soon, hope you're enjoying it :3?
