LANGALETHU
We all went outside to get the party started as the MC said. I was still wearing my gown and don't ask me why because I also don't know. Maybe I want everyone to see that I'm a qualified doctor know, how I wish my aunt, uncle Thokozani and Zoleka with her mother are here right now. How I wish they're seeing me like this.
Thembeka asked owners of the cars that were parked inside the yard to move them,so they did. It seems like everyone who was invited here owns a car.Now only two brand new cars were left parked inside the yard, they were both Mercedes SUVs but different in colours. The other one was black and the other one was silver grey now I'm not going anywhere until I see their owners so I stood, patiently waiting for the owners. They all came back.
Thembeka :" Mr & Miss, I have one more thing for you, they're from your parents though. I'm just doing the handing over" she took out two keys from her pocket.
"I don't know which one belongs to who so you'll take the key and open the car, the one that opens is yours"Did I hear so well? That I own an SUV now? It's a good thing I learnt driving while I was there now I own my own car. I knew that someday I'll own one but I never thought it would be this early. I looked around searching for my uncle, there he was sitting on the chair under the shade. It seemed like he's not okay, physically.
How the hell did he managed to buy this car for me? Expensive car while his worth lesser than mine. Maybe he'll tell me when I thank him because hey I'll thank him, for all this.So the "Ladies first concept" doesn't apply today because when I came back from my thoughts, Thembeka had only one key on her hand, so I quickly grabbed the key and pressed it. The silver grey SUV opened, I screamed my lungs out. I couldn't believe it, I got inside. Everything inside was perfect, I got out and ran to my uncle and bent infront of him. We hugged each other, his coughing disturbed the hug. I got worried about him but he assured me that he's okay I can go and celebrate my day. I knew he just wanted to chase me, I left.
INSIDE SOME OLD HUT.
When her husband chased her out, Nomalungelo went to the old hut where her grandmother used to practice witchcraft from, that's where she lives now. It is no secret that this witchcraft thing runs through her veins. She took out a small bottle and opened it.
Her :" come out my friend, we need to set somethings straight" she sarcastically laughed. The black small snake came from the bottle, it slid to the floor and got bigger and bigger until it reached it biggest size.
Nomalungelo :" I know you're hungry for blood, I have someone in mind whose blood you will enjoy" she said laughing.
The snake forcefully coiled itself around her, she screamed begging it to stop but it didn't until she lost her conscious, when it saw that she was nolonger moving,it untied from her, she fell down. It started licking her but she wouldn't wake up. It then moved next to the fire and sat there with it's head up.She eventually woke up and rubed her eyes. She looked around and saw it where it was. She then took the bottle and told it to get inside,it did.
Her :" you're starting to disobey my rules. I own you! I'm the only one who tells you what to do and you only do what I tell you to not the shit you just did!" She angrily closed the bottle.
Her :" this is not supposed to be happening, something is wrong for it to turn on me like that"AT THOKOZANI'S HOUSE.
Thembela is sitting with her father in the sitting room as they're watching soapies, the children are already sleeping.
Thokozani :" I did all I could to keep her away from here, hopefully she won't bother you while I'm away"
Thembela :" I didn't think my own mother is a witch, I worshipped her. I never saw bad in her, even when she was treating Langalethu bad, I supported her. She even came between my sister and I, we're the worst enemies as I'm talking"
Thokozani :" because you see that you're the one who was wrong, you need to apologize to your sisters"
Thembela :" I will apologize"THEMBELA.
At last I opened my eyes and saw that I've been walking the wrong way. I've decided to go back to school and now I'm doing my matric. I honestly don't know what was wrong with me by then because now I'm doing very well. My aim is to pass matric and study at Unisa because hey, I am a mother of three and Unisa is where I will be able to study while taking care of my babies even though I'm not living with them full-time. I always regret myself for rushing things because today I'd be the better person. I love my children though and they're the reason I ended up going back to school. They don't lack anything, their fathers support them but I also want to support them. Yes, they all have different fathers. I decided to leave dating alone because it is not for me, I'd end up having the fourth child with a different surname. I've embarassed my dad enough but he still loves me, what would he do though because I'm her child.
THOKOZANI.
I know everyone see me as a fool that I am. Living with a woman for this long, not knowing what she is up to. If I haven't found that bottle with black wax under my bed and went to the sangoma with it. I'd still be living with her. I even treated my sister's child bad because of her. Apparently she became jealous of how I loved my Langa so he turned me against her.
My sister's child hates me and I don't blame her but I thank God for bringing my mother into Langa's life because there she found home and she's happy. Even though my mom is nomore but my brother, Patrick is doing all he can to make sure that she's happy and gets everything she needs.
AT MAGUBANE'S
Langa and Menzi just came back from their test driving. Their cars are parked inside the yard while all the others are still parked outside. The yard is now packed, full of different people, others just arrived including Thembela. People are eating and drinking others are dancing. Thembela and her sisters are sitting at the back of the house, they've sorted out their differences and they're now laughing, all together.
