"Drake, can you please explain me this photos?"

I'm here at Capiz Provincial Park, dito ako pinapunta ni Drake after I called him dahil katabi lang nito ang university na pinapasukan niya.

After I visit our resthouse ay napag-isipan ko na maghalughog ng mga gamit sa loob ng bodega dahil sa pinaayos ito ni daddy kaya ang mga pinaglumaan na namin ay nasa bodega na inilagay.

I saw this box that makes me curious about, so I decided to call Drake, a friend of mine from this Province, actually matanda siya sakin pero until now nag-aaral parin siya kasi bulakbol ito noon.

"Di mo to' naaalala? Pero sabagay sobrang bata mo pa noon," he said.

He's with his college friend but he leave them for me, dahil sabi nga niya, 'ngayon ka na nga lang umuwi, kaya lulubusin ko na to,' he even leave his girlfriend for me, at hindi ko alam dahil parang ang sama ng tingin ng jowa niya samin.

"How old am I in that picture? And whose that little boy beside me?" I asked.

PLAYING the grass with my barefoot while slowly wagging the swing, I sighed heavily while watching the moonlight from afar with the scintillation of stars with it.

I can't imagined the things happened way back, at the young age I started to fall, now I know what lolo mean when he say those words to me, from the photos, the letter and Drake's explanation, now it makes sense maybe that's the reason why I fall to him easily.

"4 year's old ka dito, while i'm 6 and this guy was 11"

I was listening to him while his still scanning the pictures that I brought

"Grabe to' pagdating sayo e. Hindi nga ako makalapit sayo noon dahil bantay-sarado ka niya,"

"Really?" I said.

"Yeah, minsan nga papunta palang ako sayo hinihila ka na niya paalis. One time nga may umaway sayo tapos umiiyak ka at nakita ka niya so siya mismo ang umaway sa mga batang iyon, haha,"

"Pero mabait yun, sadyang over protective lang siya sayo minsan nga tinutukso siya nila kuya na liligawan ka paglaki mo pero alam mo kung ano ang sinabi niya?" he smirked

"What?"

"Try then, but sorry to tell you dude but she's mine whatever it takes even our friendship will ruin, I don't care about you coz I care to her more than my life. And i'll marry her no matter what even the world is against to us."

Did he really tell it? Or maybe Drake was lying?

"Sa batang edad ang future niyong dalawa ang iniisip niya, but unfortunately he left the Province and went abroad dahil sa kagustuhan nang parents niya, at kahit hindi siya pumayag wala parin siyang choice dahil bata pa nga lang siya noon."

"You we're 5 and he's 12 when he left you, I don't have any idea if the both of you talked dahil may pinuntahan kami ni mama ng araw na iyon, basta naabutan nalang kitang umiiyak sa tabing dagat calling his name."

"Pero kahit hindi kami close noon, sa akin ka niya binilin,"

I wiped my tears before I ask him. "Anong sinabi niya sayo?"

He looked at me, "Bantayan kita sa lumalapit sayo at protektahan ka sa mga mang aapi sayo pero huwag na huwag ko daw subukan na ligawan ka dahil sakanya ka lang" he said while laughing, napangiti nalang ako

Siraulo.

"Tell me more," I said.

"Hanggang ngayon ba may tumatawag sayong Jale?"

"Uh, yeah why?"  nakakunot noong sabi ko

"WHAT? WHO?" malakas na sabi nito, and as I looked around some people nearby are watching us mostly his schoolmates

"Hyde, my fiancee, lolo made an agreement with his friend, and that is fixed marriage,"

"Hyde? As in Jekyll Hyde Claveria?" di makapaniwalang tanong nito

I nod" He's my Professor, and we're leaving in the same roof."

"What the fuck," grabe naman maka react to'

"Why? At paano mo nakilala iyon?"

Is he that famous para makilala siya ni Drake?

"Xylien, that guy from the picture at ang taong sinasabi mong fiancee mo ay iisa."

I OPEN my eyes and the cold breeze starting to ruffled my hair  while the rain slowly making its ways to the ground.

I already figure out the reason's behind my dreams every night, the promise that he said before he left me in the park, those memories with him when I was a kid.

But why he doesn't have any idea about it? He's already in a proper mind that time kung si Drake nga na 6 year old lang noon naaalala pa niya, then why Hyde can't remember it? May amnesia ba siya? Or sadyang gusto lang talaga niyang kalimutan ako.

I wiped my tears as I walked towards my room here in our rest house nandito narin naman ang mga gamit ko dahil bukas ay babalik na kami and some of us booked a flight to Manila pero ang iba ay pinili pa ring magbarko, but I have different flights with my friends , mauuna lang sila sakin.

Let someone forget you, and remember too late.

"That's it," sabi ko sabay tayo, I remember something was written on one of the picture,

It's him, wearing a khaki short and a white shirt while watching the sunset,

Baby Jale,

Maybe time will come that I need to leave this place to study somewhere and I may not here by your side, but always remember that I'll be back at ang lahat ng ginagawa at gagawin ko ay para sa kinabukasan natin.

So wait for me baby, be a strong lady and if time will come that we meet again, I'll fulfill my promise to you. That I'll marry you. So study hard. I love you, Saranghae, Jet ai'me, my future Architect.
