Twenty-Three

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"I have a business meeting in Batanggas," he said without looking at me.

He intertwined our hand while his other hand was holding the steering wheel.

Tahimik lang akong pinapanuod ang dinadaanan namin.

Ewan ko ba, ang aga niya akong ginising kahit sabado. Alam naman niyang tanghali ako gumigising kapag walang pasok.

Ano namang kinalaman ko sa business meeting niyang iyon.psh.

"Im sorry, we're late." He said to a man comfortably sitting infront of us.

He pulled a chair for me. Before he seat beside me.

"It's okay. Kadarating ko lang din naman." Sabi nong lalaki at tumingin sakin.

"And who's this beautiful lady?" 

"Jale, this is Mr. Clark Nadija. And Mr. Nadija, this is Xylien my fiancee." Pakilala nito. I just nodded and give him a small smile.

"Ohh, fiancee." He said sabay tango.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Nadija,"

"Same here, Ms."

I ate silently. Hindi ko naman kasi naiintindihan ang pinaguusapan nila. Im not into business nga kasi.

The meeting went well. Mr. Nadija left after that.

WE WENT to tagaytay. As I requested. I took some pictures on the flower booth of Twin Lakes. Photo booth siya actually, its just that bulaklak ang naka paligid dito.

This was so nice, so relaxing. I really want to stay here. Soon, I'll build my house here.

Mt. Taal captivated my whole system. It was one of the most beautiful disaster.

A beautiful disaster that can make one's life miserable.

I still remember the last time na nag alburuto ito. I was in highschool, I didn't saw it nearby but nakikita ko ito sa tv. It damage the whole area, even the nearby places.

 
Ended the days feels so good. Its already monday, and christmas vacation is approaching.

Sitting inside the classroom wearing headphone while listening to music makes me more sleepy.

I don't know but this past few days my body become more sensitive.

A noise fulfill the whole classroom, pero ako, ito at nakadukdok parin sa mesa.

"May nakakita daw kay sir claveria sa tagaytay last saturday,"

"What? Sino? Sayang at hindi na siya ang prof natin."

"A friend of mine, may kasama daw na babae,"

"Maybe his sister."

"Probably not. Diba he said na may girlfriend na siya,"

"Yeah. Nakita ba niya ang mukha ng babae?"

"No, nakatalikod daw e."

I look at them, what's with the sudden commution?

"Anong meron?" I asked Maye.

But she just answer me with a playful smile. I even look at Patch pero nakangiti lang din ang loka.

"Kayo huh, hindi ka talaga nag invite ng date niyo huh," Patch tease me.

I creased my brows.

"Huh?"

"Bali balita girl, na may nakakita kay SIR CLAVERIA na may kasamang BABAE sa TAGAYTAY."

"Then?"

"SANA ALL, TAGAYTAY ANG DATE." the both of them shouted. That made the whole classroom in silence.

All eyes are on us. Napasapo ako ng noo. Bakit ko ba naging kaibigan ang mga ito.

"Sinong nag date sa tagaytay?" Lahat kami ay napatingin sa pinto.

"Ah, I see. I knew it." He look at me and smirk. Pabalik balik naman ang tingin ng mga kaklase ko sakin at sa lalaking nasa pinto.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.  I don't care if he's one of the prof here.

"Well," he said. And lick his lip.

"You don't have class, may meeting." Aiden said.

Samo't saring sigawan naman ang nangyari. Napairap nalang ako. I just want to sleep, really.

"Don't worry baby girl, hindi ikaw ang aattend, so you can do what you want. Date kayo ulit, sa baguio na huh. Alam mo na, malamig." I glared at him. He chuckled and left the room.

Napaismid nalang ako ng sabay na nagtanong ang mga kaklase ko. Sinuot ko nalang ulit ang headphone ko bago tumayo.

Sa tagal ng pamamalagi ko dito, ngayon lang naging kontrobersyal ang buhay ko.

"Xyl, are you okay?" Lara asked. Siya kasi ang malapit sa pintuan.

"Yes, why?"

"Ang putla mo, punta ka kayang clinic." She said.

I shook my head,

"Nah, im fine. Pahinga lang ito." I said. Pero sa totoo lang ay kanina pa ako nahihilo, siguro kapag lumabas ako ng room ay okay na. Ayaw ko lang ng maraming tao, I feel suffocated.

"Tara na sa clinic, Xyl." Jv said while holding my arms to support me. And because of that I feel my knees shaking.

He call his friend para ma alalayan ako. Lumapit na din ang iba naming kaklase. Even my friend.

Hindi ko na napigilan na mapahawak sa ulo ko. I feel like the earth are moving faster. I can't breath properly too.

"I.... Can't.... Breath." I said in a low tone, I saw my friends started to get panick. Ang iba naman ay gumilid para bigyan ako ng space.

Until I heard most of them shouted, before I lost my conciousness.
