The Fall

"Ba't hindi ka sumama sa fieldtrip?" Niko asked

We're here in inside my office in my company. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang ginagawa nila dito.

"At ang aga mo atang uminom? Problem?" Cyd said.

Daldal ng daldal ang dalawang ito sobra pa sa babae kung magtanong, kung ginaya nalang kaya nila si Jello na tahimik lang sa isang tabi.

One of the reason's na hindi ako sumama sa field trip dahil I have to deal with something and feed my curiousity.

I drink my beer before I told them everything.

"Don't make any stupidity there, Jale," sumama kasi siya sa field trip na iyon ayaw ko man pero nakakakonsensya ang araw-araw na pagpaparinig niya sakin tungkol doon.

"Ano ako bata." pagtataray niya, minsan hindi mo talaga maintindihn ang ugali nito e'

Di ko na siya pinansin, instead I kissed her forehead and leave her room. Why did I do that? I don't know, I just have this feeling na kailangan kung gawin iyon, so I did.

The next day I wake up at 9 and she's nowhere to be found dahil maaga ang alis nila, he just left a note in the dining saying that she's left already, she also prepare foods. Hindi talaga mawawalan ng stock ng groceries dito sa bahay dahil nga sa mahilig siyang magluto.

I DRIVE my car to my former school to fetch Lira, I just want to visit her dahil since nagtransfer ako ng school ay minsan nalang kami nagkikita, then minsan ay hindi din niya sinasagot ang mga tawag at text ko.

I was about to go out in my car when I saw her with someone. I greeted my teeth as I follow their car leading its way to her condo unit.

I tried to calm myself and try to think positive things, maybe its her cousin,

I park my car and follow them. I breath heavily bago pumasok sa unit niya, I have my spare key with me so nothing to worry.

Wala sila sa sala, sa kusina at kahit sa veranda so I think nasa kwarto.

I closed my fist habang nakasilip sa siwang ng pinto.

But what really hurt me the most.....is what I saw and what I hear.

"So how about your boyfriend, sweetie?" The man asked.

"Don't worry about him, he doesn't know anything sadyang tanga lang siya na isiping hanggang ngayon ay mahal ko parin siya, pera lang habol ko sakanya,"

I almost lost my damn control when I saw her kissing that motherfucker. So i'm right about it. She's just using me because I have money.

Naalala ko nga, sinasagot lang niya ang tawag at text ko everytime na may kailangan siya.

When they about to start their session, I immediately open the door.

"Je..Jekyll" Lira said at biglang tumayo galeng sa kama, the man just smirking, but I don't care about him

"Wh..What..are..you..doing..h.here?" she asked stuttering

I really want to punch that man's face but I need to control myself if I want to get out of this place

"When? When did you start doing this behind my back, Lira?"

"I.Im..sorry,"

"Don't need to say sorry because I've heard enough ,Lira. And I'm not too  numb to stay with a cheater like you. We're Over. And continue what you've started."

It's been a week since that happened, I'm starting to look forward.

After that day I realized one thing. Kaya kung mabuhay nang walang Lira, but I can't do it without even seeing Jale and it kills me.

I'm starting to fall to my fiance.

I'TS ALREADY monday, and some student are already here in school. Ang mga nagbarko ay kahapon pa umalis samantalang ang mga nag eroplano ay kanina lang, but we still don't have a class for today para makapag pahinga naman ang mga studyante but it's up to them if they want to be here in school or stay at home.

I went to the Triple X-main office dahil may access card naman ako nito it's from lolo Edward, Jale's grandfather. It's already 10 so maybe dito na siya dumeritso.

"Hi, Sir," I looked around and see Maye and Patch, Jale's friend. Nandito na sila so Jale's already here, can't wait to see her.

"How's the trip?"

"Okay lang po, enjoy." Maye said.

"Where's, Jale?"

"Po? Wala pa ba siya? Nauna kasi kami sakanya e,"

What? So they have different flights?

"Nagbarko ba siya?" I asked them.

"No, we have different flights dahil si kuya Xenon ang nagbooked sakanya,"

Ah, that's it, I'm just being paranoid. It's her brother so no worries.

"Whose with her?" Aiden said. Minsan  talaga hindi ko alam kung kabute to', bigla nalang susulpot e.

"Siya lang," Patch said.

"WHAT? Paano kapag nawala iyon, hindi pa naman niya kabisado ang lugar,"

"Grabe ka naman, Sir Aiden, matanda na iyon kaya niya na sarili niya kung saan na nga nagpunta iyon na walang kasama e," Patch said.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked her. Ano namang pumasok sa kukote niya at nagliwaliw ng walang kasama.

"Noong friday kasi may pinuntahan siya Drake ata ang name, then saturday and sunday she's also with Drake, inaya nga niya kami pero hindi kami sumama." Maye added.

Who the fuck is that Drake? Damn. Jale is mine all alone.

"Who's Drake?" finally Aiden asked.

"Her friend, tsaka Sir Aiden naman, parang hindi mo alam na doon lumaki si Xylien,"

She grow up there? How?

"Saang lugar ba kayo nag field trip? I thought you're in Iloilo?" I suddenly asked.

"Sa Capiz po,"

Capiz? That place sounds familiar to me, maybe I should visit that place.

Aiden, a so friendly-teacher as always. Kung wala lang itong koneksyon dito sa school ay may issue na siya, paano ba naman ay nakikipagbangayan pa sa dalawang estudyante dito sa harap ko.

I looked around the office, parang dorm na to' a. Paano ba naman kasi sa likod ng divider ay may kama, may kusina, also a walk in closet para namang ginawang bahay na ni Jale to'.

I open the tv and a flash report made everyone silent.

"Cebu Pacific Flight385 from Roxas City bound to Manila Crash at Roxas Mindoro."
