The Arrival of the Hunters

Xylo's POV

I woke up around 3 a.m. to start training. I look over to see Nico is asleep still. I walk over to try and shake him awake. It fails, so I decided to do the only thing logical. I flipped over his mattress. He woke up and he looked angry. He yelled, "Who woke me up." I looked at him and said, "I did, it's time to train."
"What time even is it?" Nico asked
"About 3 a.m." I replied.
He looked at me and said, "Why are we up at 3 a.m.?"
"Mortals refers to it as the devil's hour, but it's really just the best time to practice our power as children of Hades. It also helps restore any drain or handicap due to power use. There's a reason I am the strongest son of Hades at Camp Oasis. Grab on we're getting the rest of the Seven."
He grabbed my arm and we shadow traveled to the arena. Nico let go and I shadow traveled all the Seven there two at a time. When they were all there in a row asleep, I said, "The cabins are on fire." Everyone but Percy and Annabeth woke up. I held up my finger so they wouldn't talk. Then Nico said, "Blue Cookies," at that second Percy wakes up. By now Annabeth had been using Percy as a pillow. Percy screams, "Where are the cookies!" In the process waking up Annabeth. They look at me and ask, "Why are we here?"
"To train of course."
Hazel asks, "What time is it?"
"Three o'clock"
"Why so early?" Hazel asked.
"The hours three to six in the morning are the best time to train for kids of Hades and Pluto. The difference is like lifting weights compared to lifting an 18 wheeler. This also helps with any power drain. It helps with physical workouts to. Why do you think I'm the strongest Greek demigod in Camp Oasis? This is a secret method as ancient as Hades himself."
"Why are the rest of us here then." Jason asked.
They need sparing partners closer to their level. It is always the devil's hour in the underworld. I have had a year's worth of this training. Jason, you and Percy each pick one of my siblings. The rest are fighting me. Go for incapacitation not death. Begin!"

6 hours later

We finally got finished with our morning training.
When we went to breakfast we heard a hunting horn. A lot of the guys looked scared. Then over the hill a group of girls appeared and I sense a goddess with them. The goddess had auburn hair and silver eyes. All of a sudden her head snaps to me, and I look away. She then walks up to me and asks, "What are you, boy. I don't recognized your species."
I bow and say, "If I'm correct you are Lady Artemis. M'lady I am a demigod son of Hades. I am from a camp in the desert known as Camp Oasis. I asked the oracle there about any information about my mother because Hades refuses to tell me about her. The oracle said to come here and I shall receive the answers I seek. As a goddess you probably don't have a need for my name, so I will save you the time." I stay bowing to the goddess respectfully. Then she asks, "What is your name, boy?"
I respectfully say, "my name is Xylo m'lady." Then she asks, "Why do you need your father to tell you about your mother?" "I never knew her. Come to think of it, I can't remember anything past about 10 years ago."
"That is all. Hunters head to cabin eight and get settled in. I have something I need to check in on."

6 hours later

I was enjoying myself sitting in a tree in the dark part of the forest.
I then saw an Ares camper dragging a body. It looked like one of the Hunters he laid the body on a big rock and started unbuttoning their black jeans. At this point I realized what they were about to do. I took out my dragon bone bow with haste and fired an arrow into his shoulder. Then he tried to run, so I shot him in the back of the knee. I then put on my helmet and jumped from my high perch. I landed right in front of him in between him and the hunter. The force caused a crater ten feet across. He watched in fear as I slowly walked up to him and unsheathe my fire sword from Mercury. When he sees this he looks more pale than Nico. I asked him, "Why did you drag an unconscious Hunter of Artemis into the darkest part of the forest?" He didn't reply. "Answer me truthfully and you might survive." I yelled at him. He still didn't answer. " You have made your choice. Have fun in the arena." As I said that I burned him alive and banished him to the arena torture chamber leaving only two dragon bone arrows. As I finished I heard a gasp. I turned around to see the hunter is awake and at that moment Artemis flashes in.

Artemis POV

I need to see Hades about this Xylo. When I get to Hades's palace I immediately go to the throne room. As I get there I see Hades. As soon as he sees me he smiles and says, "Artemis, my favorite niece, what has brought you hear today?"
"Recently I visited Camp Half-Blood And there was something that interested me." He looked nervous and said, "What is it your son, Xylo, the you said died three millennia ago. The only man I ever cared for. Is it the same one. Is it the same man I knew."
"Yes, it is. I put him to sleep and hid him away from everyone. I did it because If the world knew of his existence, they would fear him. He alone could outmatch the primordial council minus Lady Chaos with ease. If Zeus knew he existed he would attack him while he was still weak. If people knew his heritage, they would fear him. They would want to destroy him. Everything I do is for his protection." Hades explained
At that moment I felt fear coming from one of my hunters. It was Thalia, my lieutenant. "I must go. One of my hunters are in danger. I then flashed away to find Xylo with a sword in hand he quickly sheathed it and bowed. I turned to Thalia and asked, "What happened?" She was too shocked to answer so I turned to Xylo and asked, "What happened?"
He said, "I was sitting on a branch in that tree over there when I saw a son of Ares drag her and set her on the rock. He started trying to unbutton her pants. I wasn't going to let him go any further, so I shot him in the shoulder. He tried to run so I shot him in the back of the knee. I put on my helmet and jumped from the tree. That explains the crater. I gave him two chances to explain himself and defend him self he didn't do either so I sentenced him to death and three millennia of torture in the arena torture chambers and I think she witnessed that last part." When we got back to camp the oracle came to Xylo and said, Approach seeker and ask.
