Xylo's POV

When I passed out I had a dream about a woman. She looks familiar but I just can't remember how. Almost as if the memories were locked away. She had hair that was as black as the vacuum of space. Her eyes were a deep purple almost black and had little spots that looked like stars. Overall she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, but I feel a connection between me and her. She was giving off a comforting aura that made me just want to give her a hug. Almost as if I was a soldier seeing my mother after years of being away at war. Her aura made me feel something I have wanted to for years. Motherly love. She just walked up to me and gave me a hug and said, "Don't worry we'll see each other soon. Then you'll have all the love and guidance you ever need. Some of your memories were locked away and replaced. If you take the longer route to Greece, your memory will come along the way."
We just stood there hugging till she said, "Your time here is coming to a close. Remember don't lose hope."
As she said that I woke up.

When I woke up I was in the infirmary and there was a man with blond hair and blue eyes talking to Artemis, but I couldn't quite make out what he was saying. I saw him look like he was yelling and I said in a drowsy state, "Don't raise your voice to Artemis goddess of the hunt. Be respectful." As I said this my hearing came back to me then I stretched and sat up. When they heard me say something they fell silent and looked in my direction. When they saw me sit up, the man said, "See little sis, I told you he was fine he wasn't even drained of power. He just needed rest and from what Nico said, he doesn't have the best sleep schedule. He only gets three hours of sleep because he goes to sleep at about eleven and wakes up to train at two thirty. He was probably just tired." "Apollo, he summoned thirty legions of Sparti. Hades can't even do that." She replied. Oh so this is Apollo. "How long was I out, and didn't Artemis help your mother give birth to you Apollo?" I asked.
Artemis then said, you were our all night, it is currently eight in the morning. To answer the second question, yes I did help our mother give birth to Apollo." Wait, I missed training. Apollo then asked, "Did you dream of anything while you were out?" "Yea, I dreamed about a woman she had hair as black as the vacuum of space. Her eyes were a deep purple almost black and had little spots that looked like stars. She gave offa comforting and motherly aura. We need to take the long way to Greece."
Artemis looked confused about why we need to take the long way there. "Why would we do that if we could be there in under a minute?" Artemis asked. "We need to. The woman said some of my memories were sealed and replaced with fake ones. She said that as we go I will regain my memories. I want to remember." I said. "Fine, but you have to keep up a better sleep schedule, and we're leaving today." "Fine, where is my armor?" Apollo then said, "I put it on the armor stand over there" I get up and put on my armor. We then walk out to the dining pavilion and I find Nico at the Hades table and sit with him. "Hey, Neeks." "Oh, hey Xylo. I see you're up." "Yep." "So, when we leaving?" "We're leaving after breakfast, but we have to take the long route." " What! Why?" "While I was out I dreamt about a woman with hair as black as the vacuum of space, and eyes a deep purple nearly black with white dots that looked like stars. She told me that some of my memories are locked away and replaced with false ones. This will help get them back, but the deal with Artemis is I have to keep up a better sleep schedule."
He looked at me and said, "Good, you get up too early."
"Someone has to be on their guard. What would you do if your jealous brother came and tried to kill you in your sleep because they can't beat you in a rigged duel with the odds in his favor? You would die, that's what you'll do." A kid at the table next to us said, "He has a fair point." Nico glared in his direction and the kid shrinks back from it.
"So, how are you going to improve the schedule?" Nico asked.
"I don't know? Maybe I'll go to bed at nine."
I get up and walk to Chiron and Mr. D at the head table and said, "Lord Dionysus, Chiron there has been a development in how we go about this quest. We need to take the normal route because when I was unconscious I had a dream about a woman. She said that some of my memories are locked away and replaced. If we go by any teleportation it won't work, but if we take the long way I would get them back as we get closer."
They seemed to understand, " Go tell Leo the Argo II will be needed. "Yes, sir."
I did as I was asked. When I told Leo that Chiron said to prepare the Argo II for the quest he looked confused. He asked, "Why, didn't you say that you were going to shadow travel us there?"
I looked at him and said, "That was the original plan, but I apparently have locked memories that we have to take the long way to get back."
He then had an understanding face and said, "Oh, I get it. I'll be done in an hour."
I then went to the shooting range and started practicing. By the time I noticed someone was watching there was a whole crowd of the hunters and Apollo cabin, just staring at my target with their mouths open. I look back to my target and see I had split thirty arrows in a row and made a bullseye in the exact center, every time I shot. I then say, "Wow. I usually don't make it past twenty shots before I stop splitting the arrows that's ten more." They turned to look at me and an Apollo kid said, "None of us make it to ten." I looked surprised at this then said, "Don't use that type of talk. I'm sure you could be just as good if not better than me with enough practice and the right opportunities." I replied. I then walk away. When I check the time I see I was training for thirty minutes. I then went to the arena and see Percy teaching swordplay. I watch but get distracted when I see what looks like Shadow. Wait, that can't be Shadow. I left him at camp. I look to see it was Shadow. He then landed in the middle of the Arena and I hopped over the guardrail and ran up to Shadow and said, "Shadow? What are you doing here." He neighs and Percy started cracking up. "What?"
"It's just he said his name is Omega, the last descendant of the first King of the Galactic Pegasi. Which isn't a thing." As he said that Chiron, who I just realized was there said, "Actually Percy, there is a race of Galactic Pegasi. They were created by Lady Chaos to be companions for her son and officers in her army. It seems this one has reached his final form. As they get older they can have a element of sorts. This one seems to have death as their element."
When I heard that I was confused.
"Wait, but when I first met Shadow he looked like a normal horse?"
When I said that Chiron turned to me and said, "When they are young they do, but I think that wasn't the case because this one is as ancient as I am. It was probably hiding it's wings from you until the right time. Before they chose an element they can shift forms. He was probably doing that." By the time this was settled it was time to go. I flew Shad... I mean Omega over to the Argo II, which was like a giant trireme. When we were all onboard they took notice of Omega. Nico came over to us and started complimenting him left and right. Then when Jason noticed he asked, "What's with the Nico style pegasus?" When he said that Percy said, "His name is Omega, final descendant of the first King of the Galactic Pegasi. Apparently he is Xylo's pegasus. It's complicated." Jason then had a face that says I have no idea what you're talking about and walked off. "Welp, Omega. I guess the journey begins." When I said that, he gave a neigh in response and went to the front of the ship.
