Desert Daughter of Death

(Heads up, I will refer to Magnus as a girl to save myself the confusion.)

Xylo's POV

I was just sitting below deck, wondering how Camp Oasis was doing. Then Nico walked in and asked, "What are you thinking about?" I look at him and I answer, "I was just wondering how Camp Oasis was doing." He looks at me strange and asked, "Why don't you Iris-Message them?" I must have looked lost because he sighed and explained that if you throw a drachma into a rainbow then you can ask Iris to let you talk to anyone. When he said that he went to find Percy to make the rainbow. Once the rainbow was made I tossed in a drachma and said, "Miss Kay, Camp Oasis." Once I finished a it showed Kay. The others freaked out when they saw a woman who was half snake. Her back was turned. She then turned around when I said, "Hey, Kay! How's Camp Oasis?" She then says, "Oh, hey Xylo! Camp is doing fine except Magnus went missing and the oracle said 'The Desert Daughter of Death shall join their love, to cleanse the daughter of the dove. The Goddess of Night shall blaze the trail, without his love the Champion will fail.' We still don't know what it means, but I think Nyx will be guiding her path." When she recited the prophecy I immediately know it branches from ours, so I said, "This branches from our quest. I guess that we will have a daughter of Anubis with us." She then asks, "How are you sure?" "Because I'm referred to as 'the Champion,' and I love Magnus." At this she went silent. We then said our goodbyes and I ended the message. When I did I went to the front of the ship and then I remember something. When we passed over the Atlantic Ocean I remember something. I remember going to Rome and hiding seals to a door in tombs. When I looked past the door, there was a set of armor. It was made of dragon scales and Nemean Lion's pelt. It was also dipped in the the River Styx. Then I saw Magnus and I kiss in the moonlight, under the stars. Then I saw myself with a very fancy looking sword I took it and drove it into a boulder. When I did that writing appeared on the rock. It said, "Forever in stone this sword will stand, until it returns to the Champion's hand."
Then I see three old ladies, probably the Fates. They said in unison, "Xylo, Son of Hades, you believe that you are a demigod, but you are far from being a demigod, Champion. The time had finally come for you to know the truth. You are not a demigod. You are a primordial." When they say that I retort, "If I'm a primordial, what are my domains?" They smirked and said, "You are the primordial of Warriors, Battle, Resurrection, Life, Death, Champions, Hellfire, Dragons, and Destruction. As a gift from us to you, we will not restrict you to Ancient Law." As soon as they finished I came back to reality and noticed I was in a bed. I got up and walked to the top deck of the ship. I found the others and it seems that Nico was explaining what happened. He saw me and asked, "Why did you passed out for an hour?" I look at him confused because it felt like half a day for me. Regardless, I say, "I remembered some of the locked memories." They looked at me waiting for me to continue. Then Annabeth asked, "Well, are you going to tell us about what you remember?" "Well, I'm not exactly a demigod." When I said that Nico looked sad. "So, I don't have a brother?" I look at him and say, "I didn't say that, Neeks." He looked confused. "Hades is my father, Nico. All I said was that I'm not a demigod." He looked shocked. "So, you're a god?" Nico asked. "No, Nico. I'm not a god." "Then what are you?" I smirk and say, "I'm a primordial." Everyone's jaw dropped except Artemis. Annabeth then asked, "If you're a primordial, what are your domains?" She looked jealous. "Well, my domains are Warriors, Battle, Resurrection, Life, Death, Champions, Hellfire, Dragons, and Destruction. I'm also not restricted by Ancient Law, whatever that means." Their jaws dropped again. Artemis then asked, "Do you remember anything else?" "Yes," I replied, "I do. I remember four seals hidden in tombs across Rome, a secret room in the coliseum with elegant armor made of dragon scales and Nemean Lion pelts, I also remember driving a sword into a boulder. When I did writing appeared and said, 'Forever in stone this sword will stand, until it returns to the Champion's hand.'" Then I started blushing, "There was also a scene I think was just dreaming because it was a scene were I kissed the girl I like under the full moon, the stars shining brightly in the sky above." Then Piper asked, "And who would that be?" I blushed an even deeper shade of red and mumbled, "Magnus." "What was that," she asked. "I said her name is Magnus." Artemis then look up and asked, "Is she a daughter of Anubis?" I look at her and say, "Yes, how did you know?" What she said next shocked me. She said, "I knew you and her before you lost your memory. That was thousands of years ago." With that knew information I told Leo to set a course for Rome. He then asked, "Who put you in charge?" I smirked and said, "I am in charge because of both birth right, and prophecy." He then nodded and did a salute. I then went to bed. When I woke up I immediately heard yelling. I went above deck and saw we had docked in Rome. I then found the source of the yelling . It was Magnus. She was yelling at Hazel threatening her with her dagger. She yelled, "Where is Xylo! A lady named Nyx said he was here, tell me where." I walked up and said, "Magnus, I'm right here. I was taking a nap. By the way, please don't threaten my half-sister with your dagger." She looks my way and yells, "XYLO!" She then runs to me and hugs me. She then then pulled away from the hug and punched me. "What was that for?" "That was for leaving without me and not saying bye," She then kissed me and said, "That is because I just wanted to kiss you." I then blushed a deep red and remembered Hazel. "Well, I guess we should have proper introductions. Hazel can you gather the rest of them?" "Sure," she says. In ten minutes everyone was gathered. When we got there I noticed Magnus and I were holding hand. Didn't say a word. Magnus then started to explain everything and who she is. Once she was finished with that, we walked to the front of the ship. We then sat down to catch up on what happened to us since we last saw each other. "... and then Nyx guided me to you." "Well since I last saw you, I found out I'm not a demigod." She looked sad, "Wait, so you can't come back to camp?" "I didn't say that." When I said that she asked, "What are you then?" "Well, I figured out that I have locked memories, when I remembered something I also saw you. When I told everyone, Artemis said you and I knew her before they were locked. She also said it happened over a thousand years ago." She looked at me confused but stayed silent. "I also remembered my armor and sword from before. At the end of the memories the Fates appeared. They told me I was a primordial. More specifically the primordial of Warriors, Battle, Resurrection, Life, Death, Champions, Hellfire, Dragons, and Destruction." To say she was shocked would have been an understatement. When she finally snapped out of it, she punched me. Hard. "What did I do this time?" "You made me worry you wouldn't be able to come back to camp." "Fair point." Then she kiss me and snuggled into my side. "That was for everything else." When she did that I blushed. "H-hey Magnus, we've known each other for a while and I need to confess something." She looks up at me and asks, "What is it." "I-I just want to say, I-I-I love you." There was silence for about a minute then I said, "I'm sorry that was probably too forward. It's okay if you don't lov..." She cuts me of with a kiss. I then kiss back. When we pull away for air, she says, "Xylo, it's okay because I love you too." We sat there a little bit just enjoying each other's company. Then I say, "Magnus, will you be my girlfriend?" She looked at me and said, "I was wondering how long it would take you to ask. Yes, I will be your girlfriend." We then kiss and then I hear someone clear their throat. We turn to see Nico. I then say, "H-hey, Nico. What are you doing." "Well, I came to introduce myself to the new girl, but am I interrupting something?" "Nico, because you're my brother, I'm going to give you ten seconds to run." He gets scared and ran. When ten seconds are up, I kiss Magnus goodbye and shadow traveled behind him. I then then tripped him and he fell onto Artemis. Wait, I have to save Nico. "Wait, Artemis. Don't kill Nico. He was running from me and he tripped. It was an accident." She sighed and said, "Fine, just make sure it doesn't happen again." "Yes ma'am." Then Leo says, "Hey Xylo, were is Magnus? I want to introduce myself to her." "I'll bring you to her come on."

Magnus's POV

When Xylo returns there is another boy with him. When they get to where I'm sitting, the first thing the boy does is start flirting. When Xylo recognizes this he takes out his fire sword he got from Riccaro.

Nico's POV

About a minute after Xylo left with Leo we hear a girly scream and went to find out what happened. When we got to the top deck and saw Leo unconscious with charred spots and Xylo with a giant fire sword in his hands. When Percy saw this he said, "What happened here?" Xylo then looked at us and said, "Oh, hey guys. What are you talking about?" Percy then said, "I mean why is Leo unconscious and charred and you have a sword of fire in your hand?" Xylo then had a look of understanding. "Oh, that's what you mean. Leo flirted with Magnus." Percy look at him and said, "So, it's not like she's your girlfriend." Leave it to Percy to be an idiot. We all turn to look at him. Annabeth then said, "This is why you're a seaweed brain." Percy still looks confused. "Percy, You still look confused, so I'll help you out. When I was running from my brother not even five minutes ago, I was running because I interrupted a kiss." He still looked lost, so Piper just said it, "They are dating you idiot." "Oh, that makes sense. Yeah, Leo totally did that. Did he at least introduce himself first?" Then Magnus said, "No, first thing he said was 'Hey, there baby. Wanna go on a date with the one and only McSchizzle?' Then he got burnt by the sword Xylo got from his son Riccaro on Mercury." Then I said, "Wait a minute, I'm an uncle and you didn't tell me? Wait is Magnus the mom?" They start blushing and say, "He's adopted. He is actually a son of Set. He just started calling me dad and it stuck." That makes much more sense. Then it was getting late so we all went to bed. We were short on rooms, so Xylo and Magnus had to share a room. Tomorrow the search for the seals begins.
