To Cleanse the Daughter of the Dove.

Xylo's POV

When I looked up, I saw something I never wanted to see again. Tainted Bri. When I saw her I immediately remembered an ancient spell that can cleanse a soul. The only thing is that the caster has to be experiencing some kind of physical action that represents love. They also need DNA from the one being cleansed. Just then, I snap out of my trance and see a sword coming down at me. I then bring up mine to block it. The other sword shattered on contact. I then noticed that it was Bri that attacked me. She then went after Magnus. Her mistake was turning her back to me. When she did, I knocked her out. Then Nico asked, "Who was that? I look at him and say, "That was my
ex-girlfriend. She is a daughter of Aphrodite. Guess she was jealous of Magnus. This is a tainted form of her, but there is a way to cleanse this tainted form."
I then told everyone my idea. Magnus volunteered to kiss me for it. Then Nico suggests we take some of her blood. I then remember the necklace from last year. I said, "There is no need. Last year at camp she asked me to give some blood for her to make a necklace. I wasn't in the best mood because Shadow had just died in the Caverns of Erebus. To put the icing on the cake, the camp counselor held a horse race just before. She made me wave the flags. She was the reason Shadow died. I only agreed to it on one condition. She had to give me one with her blood. I still have it because it has regenerative capabilities. We could use it for the DNA. We set up the spell and I hold the necklace in my hand. Magnus then kisses me and I start thinking the incantation for the spell. The necklace and Bri glow and when the glow stops she is back to normal and the necklace is gone, but Magnus and I continue to kiss. We do so till we here Nico clear his throat very loudly. I glare at him and say, remember last time you ruined one of our moments? Then we were about to kiss, this time you interrupted a kiss. Your slow painful death starts in one minute." He then looks pale and faints. Magnus and I burst out laughing. We then see Bri wake up. She looks around and asked, "Where am I?" She then sees me and says, "Oh, hey Xylo. Haven't seen you since last summer. Where's Austin?" When she said this, I look down and said, "He's dead." When she heard this she says, "How did he die? I will kill whoever killed him." When she said that I began to sweat. Everyone noticed. Nico asked, "Xylo, why are you sweating so heavily?" I look down and say, "I killed him." Everyone look at me shocked and fearfully except Magnus. Bri looked at me with hatred in her eyes. She then yelled, "He was like a brother to you! How could you kill him!" I then feel even worse. Just when I feel nothing will help the situation, Magnus yells, "Stop yelling at him! There are many situations that could have happened! He might not have had any control over the situation! Just let him explain, can't you see he feels bad about it!" Everyone immediately shuts up. They look to me and I explain everything. I tell them about the arena fights, the talk with Hades about it being my last fight to get out of the underworld, and how he died. After I explain I am in tears on the floor. Magnus then gives me a hug and whispered soothing words into my ear. When I look up everyone had a look of guilt on their face. Magnus and I went to our room. When we get there, we lay down and cuddle. Magnus was still comforting me. I then ask, "Why, did you stand up for me?" She looked me in the eyes and said, "Before camp, it was just me and Inpu. One day a guy was picking on him. When I saw Inpu getting picked on, I just lost control. That is when Inpu and I discovered our powers. I beat him to death, and brought him back to life. When this happened he immediately called us freaks and ran off. After that, I don't judge people by what they've done, I judge them for who they are." When she finished she looked down and said, "I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore. I understa..." she never got to finish that sentence because I cut her off with a kiss. When we pulled away I look her in the eyes and say, "Magnus, you trusting me enough to share this with me. The only thing that could make me love you less would be if you cheated on me. I will al ways love you." We then fell asleep in each other's arms.
When I woke up, we had arrived in Sparta. We get of the ship and look to Zoe for direction. She asks why we are looking at her. We explain and she then stared walking in a direction. We immediately followed her and we end up at the Tomb of Leonidas. The tomb opens and I see a ghost that told me if I don't wish to get lost, I need to resurrect him. When I did it was King Leonidas of Sparta. He told me that in a chamber in his tomb there is a being that has awakened. He said they were crying and seemed worried. He then said she said she missed her son and was frightened at the thought of him forgetting about her. The prophecy popped back into my mind. This was it. I finally get to meet my mother. I then asked him, "King Leonidas, can you bring us to her?" He nodded and walked off. I follow lighting my sword on fire with hellfire to use as a torch. He leads us to a corridor and inside is the woman from my vision. As soon as I saw her all my memories came back. I remember my childhood, I remember my relationship with Magnus, I remember that the reason I had to go into a slumber was so Zeus didn't get paranoid about how powerful I am. Most importantly of all I remember my mother. I finally know who I really am. I look at Magnus and see that she has a look of recognition and was crying. I walk to her and give her a kiss, and she calms down. I'm guessing that she remembered our past too. I rap my arm around her and we walk up to my mother. I say, "Mom, it's really you right? This isn't just another dream, right?" She smiles and gives me and Magnus a hug. She then said, "Yes, it is me Xylo. It's me son." We sit there hugging for a while. Then Nico clears his throat loudly. All three of us glare at him. Then, out of nowhere, Nico is on the ground with a fully armed Ancient Spartan King holding a sword at his neck. Leonidas then said, "As you resurrected me, I am your loyal servant until death claims me again. I could feel your anger when he interrupted the family moment." I then tell him, "Ok, you can let my half-brother up now." He then takes the sword away from his neck and sheathed it. "Well, who feels like leaving this tomb?" Everyone agrees and I shadow traveled everyone, including King Leonidas, to the Argo II. We then head back to Camp Half-Blood. On the way, everyone was interested in who my mom was, so I gave them a hint. "I'll give you a hint. The world is my sister, the pit is my brother, I train during the darkest part of my sister, in the embrace of my brother. Who are my immortal siblings?" Annabeth immediately said, "Your siblings are Gaia, Nyx, Tartarus, and Erebus. Their only parent is Chaos, their dad, but your dad is Hades so you can't be their brother." When she said this mother got really mad. I give her a look that clearly says to calm down, "What makes you believe Chaos is a guy?" She then looked at me like I was stupid like Percy. She replied, "Do you really think Lord Chaos is a female?" I look her straight in the eyes and say, I don't think, I know 'Lady' Chaos is a female." She then looked at me like I was crazy and said, "Where is your proof?" "Right in front of you idiot. My mom is Chaos." The immediately went slack jawed. Leonidas then bows and says, "Milady, I am honored that you chose my tomb to awaken in." The rest of the ride was peaceful. I took a nap with Magnus and we cuddled.
