Chapter 4

(Y/N POV)

I slowly turned around and wished they didn't notice me. When I saw the owner of that voice he wasn't alone. It was a boy with red hair with a heavy set girl, and a little kindergartner all wearing black. How perfect can this day get.

The kid with red hair walked up to me and said "Wow I never seen action like that coming from someone like you." "Someone like me?" I questioned. "Yeah, as in a goth... or are you just some poser trying to be goth." he replied back. "As if I ever become those conformist cheerleaders." I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

He stuck his hand out for me to shake, "Names Pete, the girl is Henrietta, the little kid is Firkle and... I thought Michael was here..." Pete introduced, but trailed off. "I don't do handshakes nor do I introduce myself to such posers like you." I replied nonchalantly. "Hmm, I like your attitude. You should hang with us since you relate to the things we do too." Everyone in the group agreed with Pete's idea. "Yeah no." I said dismissively and walked back inside. "Wait please," I stopped by the door and turned to listen to him. "At least consider it. Some conformists don't understand us and we don't want to lose anyone to end up like them or emos." Henrietta shuttered at that sentence. I ignored it. "Well that's something you don't see. A goth begging for someone to be in their clique, how adorable, ridiculous." I say o-so-sarcastically. "I thought goths didn't feel love and care." I chuckled at the thought as I walked back inside.

Pete's POV

Well.....I didn't expect that. "Well that went well as expected." Henrietta said sarcastically breaking the silence. "Yeah. Hey did any of you see Michael? I thought he was with us." I told them. "He wasn't following us. I think he went into the empty classrooms to smoke in." Firkle said. "Oh god dammit." I muttered walking inside the school finding that room.

Michael's POV

I was pleasantly smoking when the door of the classroom opened and there stood Pete. "Hey." I said lowly, he was able to hear me. "Dude why the hell are you in here?" he asked me. "Change of scenery." I blandly said. "Cut the crap Michael. The last time you were in here was because you were feeling troubled." he angrily said back. I rolled my eyes and went back to smoking. In the corner of my eye I see Pete walking up to me. I turn my head around and Pete takes my cigarette and chucks it out the open window. "Pete what the fuck!" "You said if something's wrong you would tell us!" Pete yelled back. I looked out the window angrily and confessed.

"Okay fine. I'm pissed about what happened this morning and that bitch is in my class!" Pete looked at me concerned "She's worse in class P! Basically everyone hates her! Just cause you're "goth" doesn't mean you show off how much of a smart ass you are!" I added while making hand quotations.

Pete wrapped his arm around my shoulder in a side hug comforting me. "Dude chill, that was then. Don't get so worked up on it. Yeah she punched you and embarrassed you, but she seems like a decent person." I looked at him in disbelief. "What the hell are you saying?" "I'm saying maybe you mistook her. We want her to join us." Pete said.

I backed away from him confused "Why?" She seems pretty hardcore goth, but she is hard to get." Pete said I shook my head in disappointment. "Just give her time to adjust. She'll probably accept it." "And if she doesn't?" I question. Pete stood quiet. "That's what I thought." I said as I walked out of the room.

The bell rang for class and I didn't feel like skipping for I already know what's going to happen next. I headed to class, took my seat and slammed my head to the desk groaning. "I just want this day to be over." I mumbled.

Time skip to the end of class~

(Y/N) POV

About time class ended. I got out of my seat and headed out to my locker to grab my parasol, but the damn teacher had to ruin my plans. "Don't forget to head to the music room for the Fall Music Concert. We have one week to get ready." Ok 1. A Fall Music Concert? Sounds interesting. 2. I didn't know it's fall, I thought it was winter all year round here. I almost broke a smile or grin thinking about it.
