Chapter 24- Burning sensation

It got dark outside and suddenly the wind got stronger , lightning and wind blew outside and the rain started to falls. With no idea the world of abnormal become unleashes- the calm before  a brutal war of a storm.

"Ssh!" , the wind blowing . Rhianna was suddenly scared and hysterical. Dark  was shocked by the woman's action. With no idea how to made her calm.

A few minutes her  fiancee came  behind to him  with a slightly smirked in her face and ask  "What's going on?", with a high brow.

Despite talking to his fiancee, Dark had his eyes on Rhianna's the entire time. Looking at how defiant she was triggered a fit of unspeakable anger in him. It  pierced his soul. Why did this woman need to be so stubborn? Could she not even ask for help?

At the sight of the sweaty that formed on Rhianna's forehead, Dark felt a tinge of regret.
He was only angry at her apathy and wanted to teach her a small lesson. However, his heart ached at the sight of how strained she looked. Nevertheless, he could not retract what he said.
Can't that damned Katarina see with her own eyes?

Rhianna's fingers had lost all sensation of touch as she continued to move numbly. Suddenly, her hands shook and moving.

"Argh!" Katarina let out a shriek.

"S-sorry," Rhianna apologized in distress.

"Slapped!", Rhianna head swung to the side.
Katarina had actually just slapped her without hesitation.

Dark was stunned. He caught hold of Katarina arm while looking at her with inky-black pupils as though there were golden flames in them and demanded, "What are you doing?"
His gesture was rough and it hurt Katarina but she dared not make a sound!
She had never seen such Dark being so frightening before. His gaze was like a dangerous beast looking at its prey.

 Why? Why would he be so angry? Katarina pondered. Could it be because of the slap she gave that woman? She was only a visitor. Katarina collected herself, then complained gently, "Dark, my...her nails scratched my back. You know that I have to bare my back for tomorrow's advertisement. If there's a scar, I...I won't be able to do that! I was just anxious just now..."

"You say you were anxious?" Dark turned to look at Rhianna who remained in her initial position without moving a muscle. All of a sudden, he felt a wave of unexplained emotions surge within him. He glared coldly at Katarina .

"What?" Katarina lifted her head with a flash of shock in her eyes. How could he hit me because of her a flashed of amusement in her eyes. So crucial, her face turned into devil looks. And the plot evaporated in her lips. 

"Dark, I..." Being the good actress creature she was, she quickly replied, "I admit that was my mistake. ..." but do you still have to slap me just because of her. Darn it?", while holding her slapped face.

"You can leave now." Dark refused to listen to her explanation.
"I..." Reluctantly, she did not understand the mistake that landed her in this nerve-wracking situation. "Do you need me to repeat?" Dark eyes glimmered with a dangerous flash.

As Katarina gritted her teeth and dared not say anything, she took her bag and left.
Dark looked at Rhianna in concern then walked over. "Does it...hurt?"

Rhianna shook her head and looked at him in a daze. "You...Why...?" Similar to Katarina, she could not comprehend why he had just thrown a tantrum a moment ago. Was it for her sake?
Nevertheless, she would never be so self-obsessed.
Seeing through her doubts, he sneered .

When Rhianna found out that she was playing with him and the man get his tricked.

Ouch, she said as playing her role effectively. She was trying to make a scene. She needed to call her child who was at home with the nanny so she needed a little more time to go in the room to have call to his son.
