A strong wind brushed past my long, wavy hair making me open my eyes. Once I had, my face frowned automatically as I tried to recognize the place.

Green.

All I saw was green.

There were green trees surrounding me, their leaves moving ever so slowly to the breeze.

"What the hell?" I asked out, as if to have a response in return.

What the hell was going on?

I took a step, and then another through the green grass. Just looking at the scenery, I realized that it was spring. It had to be; with the bright color of nature and the warm sunlight with the cool breeze. It was definitely spring.

But wasn't my city, Portland, experiencing summer?

When another breeze swooshed past, it blew my dress making it hover up. I stubbornly pushed it down, holding onto it so I don't flash to anyone. The wind picked up, whispering in my ear. I listened closely, realizing that they were actually whispering something into my ear.

Turn around and walk.

Okay... turn around and walk. Sounds like a pretty easy task in hand right now. And winds whispering you to do things is totally normal.

I turned, slowly, facing the back and scaling for anything unusual.

Nothing.

I frowned, almost yelling out to the air, there's nothing here idiot, you lied to me!

But, I thought too soon.

Suddenly, an enormous amount of wind pushed my body. I lost balance and fell on my butt just as a big lump of thing landed right in front of my new sandals.

I screeched.

I looked at the thing in front of me and gasped in fright.

This is not normal.

This is definitely not real.

I was dreaming, or having a nightmare. That's it! This's a nightmare.

A nightmare that awfully felt real.

I scrambled to my feet, stepping away from the thing. My breath shortened as the thing slowly stood up, braking a tree during the process. It was too big in this patch of land that could fit a whole soccer field. It finally balance onto its four legs, stomping and snarling.

I noticed the red and black scales and the sharp nails it held on each toe. It's skin looked like a snake but this thing had a tail. A really large one. And, I couldn't help but notice the neck that resembled a horse and the horns that came out of each side of its head.
