I had a few stares directed at me.

I was back in my office, on my chair, grabbing onto the armrest like it's a life or death situation. I noticed that my things were exactly where I'd left them a few weeks back and the sticky note still stuck onto my computer screen. After a few seconds of no sound, the office went back to doing their work and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Well, that's one way to grab attention," the voice made me scream. "Stop screaming again, woman!"

My boyfriend slash office friend slash work neighbor, Josh, stood at his platform as he leaned over the mini wall that separated us. I placed a hand on my chest, trying to calm my racing heart.

"What happened?" I softly ask and he rolled his eyes.

"You walked in without acknowledging me and sat on your seat only to scream like you're giving birth, causing the whole office to take a glance."

It was my turn to roll my eyes. Josh can seriously piss people off when he talks, including me. But, I love him anyways. I turned to my table, soothing out the prints on my dress and pealed the note from the screen.

Meet me in my office in an hour, we have work to discuss.

That was definitely my boss's handwriting. Plus, he likes to have a little fun when he'd calling out on workers; he says that it's to keep him entertained.

Josh walked from his section and entered my unit, placing both hands on my shoulders to turn me around. My wheely-chair helped him and I came face to face with my handsome boyfriend. From the closeness, I can count the amount of freckles on his nose and can grade how fair his face seemed to get in the past few days. His nose is still pointy and his ears still made him look like an elf.

"Good morning," he mumbled, leaning in for a kiss. I kissed him back, trying to calm down and forget the recent events. The kiss didn't help. "And nice necklace, where did you get it?"

My hands went up to the pendant before he cold touch it. "Oh!" I accidentally yelled too loud and winced when Josh flinched, he hated loud noises. "This? I... I found it in my old storage box. You know, it was my mums and I thought that it would go well with the dress."

I patted the sunflowers on my dress waiting for Josh to point out that they weren't mine. But, he smiled at me and patted my back, saying that he had work and returned to his station.

Once I was sure that no one was watching, I traced my fingers back to the necklace as I rubbed on it and thought of the time when Jade had given it to me.

So the two weeks were real. If Josh could see it and I'm still wearing the outfit, then the other world was real. Dragons are real.

But now, I have to worry about my actual clothes that are left behind in Oliver's room. Darn it, it was one of my favorite dresses!
