They were so perfect together
like the pink and orange shades
of the sunset
and the calm feeling
of the sunrise.
You could feel the bond
the affection
the joy.
You would think it could last
forever
but it didn't
and it hurt
like hell.
I miss those smiles,
laughs,
friendship.
I miss the silly jokes
and how easy it was.
I felt always wild
always free
and always full of
happiness.
There were no bad times
or bad thoughts
not even tears.
You used to make me feel
like I was loved,
like I belonged.
Now it's just memories
of what could've been
history.
