Love Is Enough

Morning

Callie woke up startled & looked at the time: 11 am.
"Shit" she whispered quietly. She didn't mean to sleep in this long but she was grateful for the rest. She freshened up & exited the room while Brandon was leaving his.
"Hey" Brandon said
"Umm hey have you seen Aj?" Callie asked
"I think he went outside but you can ask moms" Brandon said heading downstairs. Callie entered her mom's room to find Stef doing her makeup & Anthony laying on the bed sleeping.
"Hi love, did you sleep good? Stef asked
"Yeah I did actually I slept longer than I should have, Sorry " Callie said looking at Anthony.
"Don't worry love, you deserve good sleep. You've done so much. Also you're doctor said for you to apply some of your own breast milk onto your nipples and that should help. I also ordered you some lanolin cream that should help as well" Stef said
"Ok. Thank you! Seriously, I don't know what I'd do without you" Callie said as she walked out and headed downstairs. She found Aj outside sitting on their bench outside & she went to sit with him.
"Hey" Callie said placing a kiss on his lips
"Look who decided to get up" Aj teased & Callie looked at him & rolled her eyes. They sat and chatted and cuddled for about 20 minutes and then decided to go back inside. Callie entered the mom's room to find Stef carrying a calm baby. Callie immediately went up to him and Stef handed him over. She placed kisses on his forehead and cheeks. Stef had never seen her more in love.
"Thank you mom I love you" she said
"I love you too baby" Callie walked out and headed to her room to change his diaper. She layed him down and started to change him as usual when she stopped - her expression changed to confusion mixed with a little bit or horror. On the diaper was a small red spot. Blood. Aj walked into the room.
"He's bleeding" Callie said scared and Aj looked over at what she was seeing.
"Oh you're right.. that is blood" Aj said concerned as well
"Do you think he peed blood?" Callie asked confused
"I don't know we should get Stef & lena" Aj said as Callie sighed. She hated always relying on Stef & lena but the truth is they were still kids & didn't know what to do. Aj went to get them & they came running in within seconds & started examining the blood on his diaper. Lena carefully examined him to see if he had a cut or injury.
"I'll call Dr. Lopez" Stef said picking up the phone. Callie grew more concerned & scared.
"He doesn't look like he's injured in any way" Lena said.
After 15 minutes of talking on the phone Stef informed everyone what the doctor said
"So because he was circumcised she says this is very common for baby's to bleed just a little bit randomly. She said it is normal but to keep an eye and make sure we don't keep seeing more" Stef said and the rooms tension fell.
"Ok thank God it's normal" Callie and Aj nodded their heads and Callie finished changing him. The moms left the room & headed downstairs.
"That's a relief" Aj said picking up Anthony as Callie walked over and hugged both of them. She was still shaken up. She couldn't imagine losing any of them. She felt Aj's phone vibrate. She noticed during the night he had been on his phone more than usual before bed and a small part of her was curious to what the notification must have been and what he was always doing on his phone. She pushed the bad thoughts out of her mind and tried to soak up the moment as best as she could.
