Stef decided to meet up with Mike later that day after her conversation with Callie.
"Hey!" Stef said to Mike. They ended up meeting at a small coffee shop near his house.
"Don't worry Stef I told Aj everything and he said he's not going to bring her around anymore" Mike said sipping his coffee.
"You mean when you're there" Stef gave a small laugh and tried her coffee as well.
"Stef, I have to trust him. I believe when he said she wasn't going to come around anymore" he said.
"Ok fine. Can I talk to him too? I just want him to know this is important. Callie is really upset, I don't know how I'm going to convince her to let him see Anthony." Stef shook her head in concern.
"How about you talk to Aj and I talk to Callie?" He suggested.
"I think that's a great idea. How about tomorrow morning? The rest of the day today Anthony stays with us but tomorrow we can sort this out" she said sipping her coffee again.
"Stef... seriously you know that's not fair" Mike said a bit defensive.
"Mike, let's just let it be today ok? It's just one day" she said reassuring him.
"Ok, fine."
Later that night went normally and Callie continued to ignore Aj's text messages. She just finished giving Anthony a bath and walked back into the room with him wrapped in a towel. Mariana was putting on her moisturizer and getting ready for bed as well.
They have been avoiding each other all day after their fight this morning.
Callie started dressing Anthony and subtly glancing at Mariana every once in a while.
"So, are we just going to pretend like we don't exist to each other?" Callie said half smiling at Mariana.
She ignored her and continued fixing up her bed then layed down.
"Look, I'm sorry if I offended you earlier. I'm just going through a really really hard time right now and it's made me so stressed and anxious." Callie said looking over at her.
After a few seconds of silence Mariana sighed,
"I know, and I didn't mean what I said either. You know I'm on your side. I guess I can just be a bitch and it's not always a good thing" she said rubbing her eyes.
Callie smiled at her. Just then Anthony sneezed. She grabbed a tissue and cleaned off his nose then started nursing him so he could go to sleep.
He sneezed again a few minutes later.
Callie had already noticed that he had a runny nose but the sneezing was new. She felt his head and it was slightly warm, she was worried he might have a fever.
"Are you moving to the garage because of me?" Mariana said.
"What? No of course not, I just, I want to be more independent now that I have Anthony and technically am a senior now" she said and Mariana nodded.
"Ok, I'll miss you in here though.."
"Me too.. we still have to get it all set up so it won't be for a few more weeks probably" she said looking at Anthony.
Stef and Lena walked in to say goodnight,
"Goodnight babies remember don't be up too late in here, busy day tomorrow and you have to get up early for that talk with Mike."
Callie nodded her head, Stef had informed her earlier that Mike was going to talk with her about Aj.
It was going to be hard for her to trust him again but she understood and was willing to try anything for Anthony.
"Do you have a thermometer? He feels a little warm and he's been sneezing and has a runny nose" Callie said patting Anthony's back.
"Oh no, yeah I'll bring the baby one we have" Lena said heading back to their room.
Stef walked up to him and felt his forehead.
"Has he been acting different?" Stef said.
"No, besides the sneezing and runny nose, he seems normal."
"Ok. Then it's best for us to stop it before it gets worse"
Lena walked in with a thermometer and took his temperature.

"99.9" Lena said.
"Over 100 is a fever so he's definitely getting there. I'll call his doctor for you and see what she says. We have some medicine here from last time thankfully" Stef said calling Dr. Lopez's number.
After a few minutes later Stef brought over some baby cold medicine and baby aspirin she had downstairs.
"She said he can take a dose of both of these but we still need to watch him to make sure it doesn't get worse overnight." Stef said filling the medicine syringe up with the liquid.
She gave it to Callie and she stuck it in his mouth and slowly emptied the medicine.
Anthony immediately started fussing and tried moving his head away.
"Maaamaa" he cried
"Please baby, you need to drink it" she continued to hold the syringe in his mouth and decided it would be best just to quickly pour it all in.
Anthony swallowed the medicine with some help from Stef who held his face up. He started crying and Callie picked him up wiping his mouth off.
"All done" she said. He started coughing and Callie gently patted his back.
"Poor thing.. do you want to sleep in our room today so we can help with him tonight?" Lena said.
"No, it's ok I think he'll be alright once I put him to bed. I'll just nurse him a bit more and hopefully the medicine will settle in" she said rocking him side to side.
"Ok, love if you change your mind or need help please call us" Stef said kissing Callie's forehead.
"I will, thanks, I love you"
Anthony went to sleep around 30 minutes later and so did Callie.
She woke up from Anthony crying a few hours later.
She picked him up from his crib and changed his diaper. She tried giving him his pacifier but he wouldn't take it and he wouldn't stop crying.
Callie stood up and started rocking him and Mariana watched. She was still awake and was watching tv.
"Shhhh" Callie said leaning her head against his and trying her best to keep her eyes opened. She was exhausted and dealing with a sick baby was hard.
When he wouldn't stop she sat on her bed and started trying to nurse him again.
He didn't seem to want that either as he kept crying and moving his face away.
"It'll make you feel better... please" Callie said trying to get him to latch on.
She was starting to feel overwhelmed and didn't know what to do to make him stop crying.
She gave up and stood up again rocking him while humming.
Anthony started crying a little quite now but he was still very upset.
She continued trying to soothe him but he started to cry loudly again.
"Ugh" she said and Mariana noticed she was getting frustrated.
"Maybe I can help?" She said.
"No, just..." Callie snapped back at her.
She let out a sigh, she didn't mean for it to come off as rude but she was tired.
"Fine" Mariana rolled her eyes, turned around, and closed her eyes.
Callie continued rocking Anthony who wouldn't stop crying. She tried putting the pacifier in his mouth again but he grabbed it and threw it on the floor.
Callie felt her eyes start to water, she didn't want to go bother Stef and Lena but she was feeling hopeless. By now it had been about an hour and no luck.
She looked at the time, 3 am, she looked up trying not to cry but it was no use.
She rocked Anthony and cried with him for a few minutes before she decided to go into her moms room.
She knocked on their door and Lena got up to answer right away.
"Awe, he's not happy tonight huh?" Lena said lifting him from Callie's arms and feeling his forehead.
"He doesn't feel like he has a fever.. come on go lay with mom" she said noticing Callie looked like she had been crying and exhausted.
"You should try nursing him" Stef said sitting up.
"I already did that... and pacifier.. and I changed him.. and I rocked him for like 40 minutes" she said letting tears fall.
"I know, it's tough.. it's ok love" Stef said wrapping Callie in a hug.
"I'm just tired" she said rubbing her nose and Stef rubbed her back.
Lena continued rocking Anthony while he cried.
"You know, sometimes you just have to let them cry until they tire themselves out and end up falling asleep.. especially if they're sick and don't want anything" she said.
They decided to take turns and Stef started rocking him 20 minutes later.
He finally started to quiet down and his breathing started to even out.
He fell asleep in Stef's arms and Callie ended up falling asleep in their bed.
"Thank goodness" Lena whispered looking at Anthony with his eyes closed and red puffy wet face.
"Poor thing. We should make him an appointment.. though it might have to be after Aj's time tomorrow" Stef whispered
They all ended up falling asleep soon after and Anthony slept the rest of the night.
