Chapter 10: Christmas Eve

I smiled as the phone rang and I waited for Louis to pick up. I wanted to wish him a happy birthday.

"Hey Ani!" he said happily when he finally answered.

"Hey Lou! I just wanted to say happy birthday," I replied.

"Aw thanks love. And thank you for the shirts also, you really didn't have to get me anything," he said. I had gone to Top Man and bought him some shirts as his birthday present.

"Well I wanted to so suck it up Tommo." He chuckled and I could imagine him shaking his head.

"Well thank you. And merry Christmas love."

"Merry Christmas Lou. Tell Eleanor I said merry Christmas as well."

"I will, well I'll let you spend time with your family. Bye An," he said. I could hear his sisters laughing in the background and begging him to come play with them.

"Bye Lou!" I replied and hung up. I went downstairs and joined my sisters on the couch watching Alvin and the Chipmunks. The plan was that Safaa and Waliyah would stay at their mom's tonight and open their presents there and then Doniyah would bring them over to open their presents here. Zayn and Perrie were also going to come over tomorrow. Then a few days before New Year's I'd be flying out to New York with the guys and their girlfriends since the boys were performing on New Year's Eve. I checked my phone when I got a text.

Hey Issa -H xx

Hey H. No offense but why are you texting me? Aren't you with your family? -Ani xx

Yeah but my mum and sister are cooking and my stepdad is watching TV so I'm bored :( -H xx

What do you want me to do about that? :P hahah -Ani xx

Well then, you're mean -H xx

You know I'm kidding dork :P you enjoying being back home? -Ani xx

Yeah I am :) I missed my family. What about you? -H xx

Well I'm not back home but I'm enjoying spending time with my family -Ani xx

No problem Issa. You know I'm here for you. Now for something happier. What'd you get me for Christmas? -H xx

I giggled at Harry and sighed. I wished I was home in the US. Back home I'd currently be on the couch with Sequoia and Jax, having a Christmas movie marathon, drinking hot chocolate, and eating cookies. I missed home and my friends a lot. The rest of the day went by fast. I ended up helping my mom make some of the side dishes for dinner tomorrow night. At the end of the night my sisters set cookies out for Santa and went to bed. I grabbed some wrapping paper and went up to my room. I still had to wrap the presents I got for the boys, Eleanor, Sophia, Pez. I had bought cook books for Niall, a new hat and a pair of boots for Harry, a soccer ball and a signed picture of the Man United team for Louis, a necklace and matching bracelet for Eleanor, an Alex McQueen scarf for Liam, and nice sunglasses and earrings for Sophia. I had also bought a leather jacket for Zayn and for Perrie I bought a necklace and a new pair of heels. Once everything was wrapped I carried them downstairs and put them under the tree. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
