"Get up Anissa, you're gonna miss your flight," Sequoia said.
"I don't want to go," I whined, pulling a pillow over my head. I had left London for Pennsylvania the day after Christmas. Now it was New Years Eve and I had to catch a flight to New York. I didn't want to go because I didn't want to see Zayn or Harry yet. Also because I didn't want to leave my friends. I had had a great week so far and I wasn't ready for it to end.
"Anissa Marie Edgehill get your ass out of bed. You need to make this flight so you can make up with Zayn and make Harry yours," she said, sounding serious. I groaned and rolled out of bed.
"Fine, I'm awake. Happy now Quoi?" I asked, stretching.
"Yes now hurry up and get dressed so I can drive you to the airport." She left the guest room where I was staying and I grabbed the outfit I had picked out the night before. I took a quick shower; then dressed and blow dried and my hair. I put on some light make up and grabbed my bags. Sequoia drove me to the airport and I boarded the plane when my flight was called. I found my seat and put my carry on over head. Once we took off I put on my headphones and listened to some music on my phone. Don't Forget Where You Belong by One Direction came on and I sighed. Whether he went about it the right way or not Zayn had only been trying to protect me. He was like my older brother now and I wasn't used to having someone like that in my life. Even still, I couldn't believe that he had tried to tell me who I could and couldn't date. Brother or not that was not acceptable to me. I would date who I wanted to. We landed in New York safely and I got off the plane. I got my bags and found the guy holding a sign with my name. He drove me to the boys hotel and I checked in. After I dropped my bags off in my room I went to Zayn's. I knocked on his door. He opened the door and grinned when he saw me. He hugged me tightly.
"You made it. I'm glad you're okay." I smiled, hugging him back. He let go and let me into his room. "I'm so sorry about last week. I'm very protective of my sisters and I crossed a line. I shouldn't have tried to tell you who to date," he said as we both sat on the bed.
"It's okay. I got too upset anyways. I'm just not used to having that brotherly figure in my life. But please never try to tell me who to date again. I know you're like my brother now but I'm going to date who I want okay?"
"Okay," he replied. "Are we good now?" I laughed slightly and nodded.
"We're good Malik," I said, smiling.
"Yo Z, when is Ani getting here?" Louis asked walking into Zayn's room, followed by the other three boys. I just laughed silently and waited for them to notice me.
"Issa!" Harry yelled, when he noticed me on the bed. I laughed at him.
"Hey H," I replied and got up to hug him. He hugged me tightly.
"Hey Issa," Niall said, going to hug me once Harry let go and I just gave him a look.
"No. Public service announcement boys, Harry is the only one who's allowed to call me Issa. The rest of you must call me An, Ani, or Anissa. Are we clear?" I asked and the four boys my announcement affected nodded. Harry was kind of smirking to himself and I shook my head. I said hi to the other boys and we just hung out in Zayn's room. After a few hours we started to get bored.
"We should do something," Louis whined.
"Like what?" Liam asked, sitting up from laying down on the floor.
"Let's go to a club!" Niall suggested.
"That's...actually a good idea," Liam agreed.
"Sounds fun," Zayn added.
"I'm in," Louis said. "At least we can get out of the hotel. Looks like we're going to a club tonight.
