It's been a week since Zayn's party and I was settling in to life in London pretty well. I was taking classes on line so I could graduate from my old school. I had made a special arrangement with them since the schooling system is different here in the UK. I had gotten a job at a local clothing store so I was at least making money. It was a bit strange actually having time for a job. Back in the states I never had the time between school and cheer. I had looked into local cheer squads having tryouts even it meant joining an all star squad but I couldn't find one that was having auditions right now. I spent a lot of time hanging out with Adam. He was definitely helping me feel more comfortable here. It helped that he was really cute.
"Ani! Ani!" Nika and Mila cheered running into my room.
"What guys?" I asked not bothering to scold them for coming into my room without asking. They never listened anyways.
"Adam's here!" Mila replied.
"He said he's taking you out!" Nika added. I laughed at my little sisters. Leave it to them to get crushes on my first friend here in London other than the 1D boys. Adam had asked me on a date a few days ago and of course I said yes.
"Okay can you two tell him that I'll be down in a couple minutes?" I asked and they nodded, running back out of my room. I looked over my outfit one last time in the mirror. I had on a loose pink tank top with a black moto jacket on top and a pair of blue skinny jeans. I put on a pair of converse then grabbed my phone when it started to ring. It was Harry so I decided to answer it quickly. "What's up H? I can't really talk long," I said.
"I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight?"
"I would but I can't H. I'm about to go out with Adam. Maybe we can hang out tomorrow?" I suggested. I heard him grumble something.
"Un yeah sure. I'll talk to you later," he said then hung up. I sighed and grabbed my purse then went downstairs. I saw my sisters clinging to Adam and I shook my head smiling.
"Nika! Mila! Leave him alone," I scolded and they quickly let go of my date. He smiled at me.
"You look great Issa," he said, kissing my cheek as I made it over to him. I groaned quietly. He had taken to calling me Issa and I didn't like it. I wasn't sure why though because Harry called me Issa too but I never minded when he called me that.
"Please don't call me Issa," I told him and he nodded. I said goodbye to Yaser since my mom was at work and left with Adam. He drove us to the restaurant and we talked about random stuff. Usually I was relaxed with him but for some reason tonight I was a little on edge and couldn't relax fully. We got to the restaurant and were seated quickly. A waitress came over and I groaned inwardly. Her face was caked with make up and her shirt was obviously like two sizes two small. She looked me over, rolled her eyes, then turned all her attention to Adam who didn't seem to mind at all.
"What can I get you drink?" she asked Adam.
"I'll have a run and coke," I spoke up, noticing that she rolled her eyes again. She wrote down my drink order then turned back to Adam. He flirted with her and I rolled my eyes this time. If this is how tonight was gonna go then there would not be a second date.once the waitress left to get our drinks Adam reached across the table and grabbed my hand. He kissed it gently and smiled at me. I smiled back. Maybe I had just been imagining that he was flirting with the waitress. She came back with our drinks but purposely spilled mine all over me. She apologized fakely. "Yeah whatever," I replied standing up. "I'm gonna go clean up in the bathroom. Just get me another drink please?" I asked and walked to bathroom to try and get the run and coke out of my shirt. I went back to the table and my drink was waiting for me. I quickly took a long sip as I sat back down.
