Izuku didn't get much sleep that night. His mind was running at ninety-five miles per hour and seemed like it wasn't going to slow down anytime soon. It wasn't until his alarm clock went off at six in the morning that Izuku finally looked up from his notebook.
"Crap, it's already morning already?" Izuku sighed, grabbing his backpack and sliding his school work and notebook into it. He slung the bag over his shoulder and took a look in the mirror hanging from his closet door. He was still in his uniform from yesterday. It was slightly wrinkled and his hair was standing more on end than usual. Carding a hand through the unruly curls, he managed to get them to lay in their usual, messy fashion.
"It will have to do," Izuku mumbled after tugging his shirt a couple of times. He took one last glance around the room to make sure he didn't forget anything (which didn't quell that obnoxious gut feeling that he did leave something) before walking out of his dorm to get some breakfast.

"Deku, wait up!!" A feminine voice called out behind him as he neared the entrance of the school. Izuku turned to see Uraraka, Todoroki, and Iida rushing over to meet him.
"Hey, guys! What's up?" Izuku gave them a small smile. The three soon to be pros looked at Izuku suspiciously.
"Um, you kind of left us at breakfast. We normally all walk to class together." Uraraka said awkwardly.
"Yes, you seemed rather preoccupied when you left." Iida chimed in, putting an arm around the brunette's shoulders, "Is there something upsetting you, Midoriya?"
"Guys, I really am fine. Just stayed up a little too late last night."
After some further reassurance on Izuku's part, the three reluctantly left the subject alone, satisfied after Izuku promised to go to bed early that night. Conversations carried on as the four walked through the halls of UA to Mr. Aizawa's classroom. Comments on the incredibly long homework assignment in math, along with the quick jot down of answers, were made. By the time they reached the classroom assumptions about Kirishima's and Kaminari's roughed up appearances came into question (Uraraka swore she saw a hickey on Kaminari's neck) and Izuku's tired mood was lightened significantly. He even managed to give Bakugou a friendly smile as he walked past the explosive boy's desk to get to his own.
Bakugou swiveled around in his seat, most likely with some snarky remark in tow, but was interrupted by the bell ringing and Mr. Aizawa crawling out of his yellow sleeping bag. Izuku smirked, gave a little wink to his rival, and turned his head towards the teacher. The greenette felt Bakugou's eyes on him for a while, but the blonde ultimately turned around after Mr. Aizawa called him out for not paying attention.
"Alright, class. Seeing as yesterday's training battles were so... intense..." Mr. Aizawa made a pointed glare at the two problem children sitting by the window, "I am allowing you all a free period."
Cheers of excitement rang out as students began standing up. Mr. Aizawa threw a hand up, halting all movements.
"First, Bakugou and Midoriya, come talk to me in the hall. The rest of you are free to chat, but stay in the class and don't get too loud. I'm taking a nap after I deal with these two."
A few 'ooh's were heard as the two boys made their way out of the classroom, Izuku being the last out. He hadn't even closed the door before the sound of crackling electricity and a few shrieks resounded from inside.
Mr. Aizawa sighed heavily, before addressing the students.
"Should I even ask what happened after I sent you two to the locker rooms that would cause you both to be gone when the rest of the class was done? Even after I told you two to stay in there until training battles were over."
