Do you have bed times?

*im very disappointed there's not a photo of Claire asking Zach and Gray if they have a bed time in Jurassic world***

I walked into Nico's room and plopped myself on his bed where he laid still in Geryon robes, staring at the ceiling.

    "I'm bored." I sighed.

"To bad."

   "Hey!"

"What do you want?" He asked rather rudely.

"Do you wanna teach me how to sword fight?"

"No."

"Common I need the practice." I whined.

"You're only doing this because Bianca told you to watch over me."

"You don't know that, what if I'm just being selfish and using you for my own selfish gain to get better. You think of that."

"No because you wouldn't do that." He said still staring at the ceiling.

"Yeah you're right, I wouldn't, but you're sad and need a distraction, it works out because I need to learn to sword fight." I said leaning up onto my arm.

"You're not gonna leave untill I say yes, are you?"

"Nope." I said popping the p.

"Fine." He said standing up. "Meet me outside in five minutes."

   *five minutes later*

He walked out holding his black sword that I was scared of.

"Umm... you sure it's safe to fight with that thing?"

"no, it can suck out your soul if it touches you, don't suck!" And he swung it to strike.

I quickly lifted up my own sword and blocked, our swords meeting for a few seconds before he moved it and swung it again. This time stoping a few inches from my neck.

"You just died in battle."  He said.

"No fair, I'm more scared of touching your sword than learning."

"Fine how about I teach you techniques than we spare with one of Eurytion swords."

"Okay, how'd you learn this stuff anyway."

"Practice in the real world, I ran away from camp."

   "Really?"

"Yeah, since last December."

"Same I've been on the run since April."

"What on earth would you be running from?"

"Boarding school and the foster care system."

"Hmm." He didn't ask questions which I was thankful for.

We trained for hours outside until my arms were sore, we went inside and showered (separately)  and when we walked out, Eurytion had set out food and was watching the news.

"Still uncertain about further eruptions," the newscaster was saying. "Authorities have ordered the evacuation of almost half a million people as a precaution. Meanwhile, ash has fallen as far away as Lake Tahoe and Vancouver, and the entire Mount St. Helens area is closed to traffic within a hundred-mile radius. While no deaths have been reported, minor injuries and illnesses include—"

"That's where Typhon is located," said Eurytion.

"Who?" I asked.

"He's one of the olympians greatest foes, he's a monster, if he's awaken things are gonna turn very bad."

"Oh," I said my heart sinking. I really didn't want to find out I'm a demigod in the middle of a war.

"Let's not worry about it. Eat your dinners and uhh go to bed, do y'all have bed times, or do you go to bed at different times?"

Me and Nico raised our eyebrows at each.

"No." We said at the same time.

"Oh." he said looking embarrassed. "Well I got chores to do so don't stay up too late."

Two weeks went by in the ranch where I would train with Nico and Eurytion. Eurytion didn't go easy like Nico, he would slash and cut me when he had openings saying it was the proper way to learn, "you have to experience the real thing." He'd say. I think it was just his child of Ares personality coming out.

Plus he could heal me with nectar right afterwards, which was the drink of the gods. It reminded me of one of my good foster care homes where they would bake every night and and learn to cook foods from all over the world. The only reason I left was because their foster care license expired and they didn't have time to renew it.

The days had started to go by slower, but it was one night Nico woke me up in the middle of the night.

   "Nico?"

"Wake up, grab your bag, we have to go."  He whispered.

"What, why?" I asked as I picked it up.

"We have to go back into the labyrinth, Percy's in trouble."
