Steve ate the candy bar you were saving for later. And because of that, you two got into an argument.

"Just give me my goddamn candy bar, Steve!" you yelled
"You snooze, you lose!" he teased
You both started spitting out insults and gibberish at eachother. Until Dally shut you two up by locking both of you up in Ponyboy's room.
"Look at what you did, you asshole." you said as you sat on the edge of your brother's bed.
"I'm sorry, alright?" he said softly
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Shut up, dumbass. All I wanted was my candy bar-"
"Y/N, listen to yourself!" he suddenly raised his voice. Something you've never seen him do before. "Listen to your tone of voice, you brat. You know I always thought that only the Socs were spoiled brats until I met you."
You turned your head to look out the window, praying to see something to distract you from Steve's voice. You couldn't find anything.
"Everyone spoils you, Y/N! Your brothers, Two-bit, Dally, even Johnny! Next time you open your big mouth you better think twice."
At this point, tears were slowly falling down your cheeks. It felt like there was a huge cement block on your chest.
"I'm sorry, Y/N." he whispered. You heard the bed creak when he sat down next to you. All you could do was sob.
"Don't cry." he said. You opened your mouth but nothing came out "It's alright. You can talk." he sighed.
You turned to him. Your face was like a tomato and tears started falling down your cheeks like a waterfall.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out your half eaten candy bar. You laughed and took it from him.
He leaned in to give you a kiss, closing the gap between you two. Just when the kiss was about to get heated, the door suddenly opened.
