Harry Hook x reader (nightmares short)

Another nightmare.

SCREAMYour eyes shot open and your breathing was ragged. You could feel the sweat building up and your hands start to ache from gripping the sheets. You closed your eyes and tried to slow down your breathing. With each deep breathe you would loosen your hold on the sheets until yours hands were limp by your sides. Only once your body stopped shaking, did you open your eyes and sit up. Your body moved out of habit as you put on your boots and leather jacket and walked out onto the deck. You lean on the railing at the very front of the ship, closing yours eyes and breathing in the smell. On Uma's ship theres was only a slight stink to the air, and it was the only place you can almost feel like your out in the open ocean, almost.
"Nightmares again lass?"
Your body slightly stiffens, but your eyes stay closed. You would recognise that accent anywhere. It belonged to your best friend, and the man that made your stomach flutter. You sighed and opened your eyes, looking longing at the water.
"You have no idea." You give him a chuckle. You hear the boards creak as walks over to your side. He rests his hand onto prayer of yours, causing yours eyes to flicker from the water to his thumb, which was gently caressing your hand. It stayed silent for a while, until you  let out a yawn.
"Common love, I'll take you back to bed. Wouldn't be a fair practice fight if my partner is too tired to see straight." He chuckles as you roll your eyes and allow him to pull you back towards your bed. He helps you walk towards your bed and helps you sit down, your eyes fighting to stay open. Once you've removed your shoes and jacket you lay down and pull the blankets up, falling asleep before your head hits the pillow, and missing the longing look and soft kiss Harry plants on your forehead.

Another night, another nightmare. Worse and worse and worse. It grew and grew from your loneliness at night. Nobody around. Then one night you woke up screaming. You quickly covered your mouth with your hand and started sobbing. Harry burst through your door with his sword and alert. He immediately dropped the sword and ran to you as he saw your face.
"Hey, hey love, it's alright. Look at me. It's Harry."
He sat on the bed beside you and pulled your hands away from your face, holding them in his. He reached up and wiped your tears with his thumb, giving you a soft smile. Harry was always softer at night, knowing that your suffered from nightmares.
You erupted into another sob, and Harry wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into his chest. He stroke your hair, trying to comfort you. Eventually your sobs slowed until it silence feel the room.
"You alrigh love?" He whispered, and was met with a soft snore. He smiled and gently layed down on your bed, laying you down on his chest.

You woke up in the morning peacefully, and regenerated. You had had the best sleep you had had in a long time. You nuzzled you're head into the warmth, until your heard a chuckle and felt it shake. You slowly opened your eyes and raised your head, where you were met with the deepest eyes.
"Good mornin love. Glad I'm comfortable." His lips drew into a smirk as your face went read and you buried your face into his neck again.
