Harry x Reader (Forever be my Heart)

You half limped, breathless onto the deck of the ship. You made your way over to the make shift 'high rank lounge' where you, Gil and Harry were allowed to hang out due to being close with Uma. You plonked onto the couch and tried to wipe the blood from the scrape on your forehead. Harry tensed when he saw you. He remained stiff and tense as he stood up, walked over and crouched down in front of you. He reached out gently and placed his fingers under your chin, moving it to the side to examine your face.
"Harry I'm-"
"Sh." He continued his examination. Your face was tingling from his touch. He reached up and used his thumb to gently wipe blood from a cut on your lip and examined it. Your heart skips a nervous beat as he finally looks you dead in the eyes. You could see the anger bubbling in them.
His voice was quiet and tense.
"Who did this to you?"
You took a short breathe to clear your head.
"It was Jay but it's honestly-"
"I'll be back."
He stood up and started walking away, his hand gripping his sword tightly. You winced as you stood up and half ran and half limped to catch him. He stopped as you grabbed his hand, which was still tight around his sword.
"Trust me Harry, it's fine. He got in a couple of good hits but I got in more. He looks worse than me. It was just over some fresh apples we were both trying to steal. I got away with them and just some bruises in some inconvenient places. That's all."
He glanced between you and the tunnel that lead to the 'gangs' hideout.
"Harry?"
He looked at you and his calmed a little.
"Come on lass lets get you patched up."
He put his arm under yours to help you take the weight of your sore side. After a few steps he stopped and ended up picking you up bridal style and continuing to his room. You used your hat to hide your bright red cheeks. He set you down at his doorway and helped you to sit on his bed.
"Get comfortable lass and I will be back."
He left and shut the door. You yawned as you looked around his room. His bed definitely looked incredibly comfortable. As you laid down, all you could smell was Harry, and it made you heart flutter and a smile cover your face.

You hadn't realised you had fallen asleep until you felt him gently shaking you.
"Hey lass, I can see your tired so I'm gonna let you sleep while I bandage you up if that's ok?"
You smiled and gave him a nod before struggling back into the pillow. A soft chuckle swayed you pack to sleep.

Soon you were softly awaken again by your same softly being called. You opened your tired eyes enough to see Harry's face and smiled.
"There you are lass. I'll let you sleep here tonight so you are safer. I'll be on the floor if you need me ok?"
Without realising you pout and made an annoyed noise.
"What's wrong lass."
"Don't sleep on the floor, it's too cold and hard and there's plenty of room up here."
Damn I'm smooth when I'm half asleep.
"You sure that's ok lass?"
"100%"
You caught a soft smile on his face before you eyes closed again. You felt the bed dip as you slipped back into sleep.

You woke up with your legs tangled with Harry's. Your head was snuggled into his chest. His arms were holding you gently against him and his lips rested on your forehead. You smiled as you looked up at his face. He looked peaceful when he was sleeping. As you saw him starting to stir, you quickly closed your eyes and pretended to be sleeping again. You felt him shift slightly as he woke up. He gently pulled you in tighter and kissed your forehead.
"Your so gorgeous lass. And strong. I wish I had a place in your heart."
He kissed your forehead again. You struggled to keep the smile from spreading across your face.
"Lass?"
You looked up and captured his lips with yours, showing all the love that you wish he knew that you had been wanting to give him for years, his being the same.
"You will forever by my heart Harry Hook."
