It had been a month since you mysteriously appeared in a place you later learned was the Isle of the lost. Your interest and historical knowledge of pirates helped you fit in with the crew and you happily took up Uma's offer. Uma and Harry took turn training you in swordsmanship, which you caught on to quickly. You often joined Uma, Harry and Gil on their adventures around the Isle and even caught a slight liking to the adrenaline rush you got from pickpocketing.

You and Harry had started getting really close and would often find yourselves in a flirting war. It wasn't until you crawled into his bed after having nightmares, and waking up in his arms, that you two make it official. After Uma's permission (which was given with an excited squeal and smirk), you moved into Harry's room with him. You felt so loved and wanted and happy, that the memory of where you had come from had almost faded away. The only ones left being the beautiful sunsets and forrests that you couldn't find on the Isle.

It had been a month, and you developed a cough. It was only small and occasional at first, but after a week it shook your whole body. Harry would give you concerned looks, and you would shrug it off mumbling something about a cold and give him a kiss. Then the exhaustion started. You started eating less over upset stomachs and sleeping more. Another week later you had stopped training because your fitness had gone downhill. Another week had past and Harry managed to convince you to come out of bed to the Fish and Chip shop to eat something. You nibbled on a couple of fries, trying to avoid the concerned looks Harry and Uma were exchanging. As you stood up to retreat back to bed your head went dizzy and you fainted. Harry had caught you just before you hit the floor.
"Dr Facilier, he'll know what to do."
He picked you up bridal style and hastily followed Uma to Dr Facilier.

Harry's POV

I smiled to myself as I felt y/n snuggle against my chest, but my frown resurfaced as I looked down at their fragile figure. They were ghostly pale and their body wasn't reacting well to the lack of food they were eating.

We finally made it to Dr. Facilier's. He looked between Our desperate faces, and y/n unconscious in my arms, and lead us to a back room. He pointed to a bed where I gently set them down. He stood over them and closed his eyes, hands hovering over the top of them. A green, fluid like mist started to swirl around his hands and his eyes glowed when he opened them.
"They are not of this world so their body is not compatible. What makes them is different to what makes us, so it's not being supported by our world."
I knelt down beside them and held their hand in mine, kissing it gently.
"Is there anything we can do?"
Uma and Dr. Facilier had a discussion while I held y/n tight, scared they would fade away if I let go. I looked up when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Harry there is one thing that we could try." Uma's soft smile caused hope to burn inside me. She slowly pulled me up and motioned for me to step back. I watched as Uma and Dr. Facilier held hands, and each grabbed on of y/n's hands. The green fluid mist started growing again and started to swirl on top of y/n. It was soon joined by a smaller tinge of blue, which I assumed came from Uma's shell necklace. As the mist started to swirl quicker and quicker, the ruby on y/n's necklace started to glow. I had given the necklace that she arrived with back to her after a week of them staying, and they had worn it since. I had held onto it because I had recognised it to be my mothers. I knew it held some sort of power in it as it seemed to be drawn to y/n, and unsettled to be set anywhere but on y/n's skin, which caused me to give it back to them.
I watch the necklace start to rise, and y/n's body started to follow, until they were floating at shoulder height. The ruby grew brighter and brighter until it let out a blinding flash and stopped glowing. The mist started to disappear and y/n floated back down to the bed. Uma and Dr. Facilier let go of their hands and stood back, allowing me to rush back to y/n's side. I grab their hand and hold it tightly in mine, pressing it against my lips. Their skin slowly starts to turn rosey again and their eyes slowly flutter open. Their eyes are full of new life as they turn their head to look at me. They smile at me, and I fail to control a smile that spreads across my face. They scrunches her eyebrows at me.
"Harry is that a genuine smile I see?"
I give them a chuckle, lean in and give them a slow and soft kiss. They sit up and put their forehead on mine, our eyes never leaving each other's, the same sense of mania flashing in our eyes.
