Your POV

Today is the 10th anniversary of the day you and Harry officially became friends. Some people find it a little out there as something to celebrate, but you and Harry enjoy spending the whole day together and going on little.... adventures. Sometimes you imagine that they were fun little dates-which they did feel like.

Being the 10th, you each had something extra special and extra fun. You were in charge of lunch, and Harry was in charge of dinner. You were currently dragging him through the Isle excitedly, with him trailing cluelessly behind.
"Why won't you just tell me what it is love?"
"Because wits a surprise! You know the drill hooky, no spoilers."
He rolled his eyes and huffed, but smiled non the less.
You stopped at a ladder on the side of a warehouse and started to climb. You make it all the way to the roof, grabbed Harry's hand again and started pulling him across rooftops until you reach the highest one near the edge of the Isle.

"Tada!" You gestured towards a raggedy picnic blanket and a 2 pairs of binoculars. Harry looked at you confused. You dragged him over to the blanket and handed him a pair of binoculars.

"See on the mainland past Auradon where there's that brown spot? Look around there in 5 minutes."

He looks at you confused again. He looks through his binoculars, curious. You look through yours as well. Through them you can make out a large pier, currently empty of people but full of cargo. You search the open sea, hoping that you were right. Almost instantaneously, a large ship came into view.

"Harry look on to the left a little." You watch his mouth fall agape as he spots the ship. His mouth pulls into a childlike smile.

"It's beautiful."

"They're trading ships that come from around the world. On the second Sunday, every month, about 10 of them come within 5 mins of each other. I found it out about 4 months ago and wanted to surprise you." He looked back at you with adoration and a big smile.

"This is amazing. What did I do to deserve you love?" He pulled you into a hug, and you buried your head into his neck.

For the next hour, you and Harry watched trading ships come and go. You would compare them and find your favourite ones, you would guess where they came from, what they had on them, how their below decks would be, and what it would be like to be the captain them.

As the final ships left the pier, you rested you head on Harry's shoulder. Seeing the smile on his face the whole time made you happy. It was the smile he gives only to you, and only when you are alone, and you loved it. He put his binoculars down and looked at you.
"Thank you love. This has been the best thing we have done together."
"Even better than that time we terrorised everyone in the market?" He gave you a chuckle.
"A million times better." He laid his arm on your shoulders and lent his head on yours. You say watching the sun shine off the ocean for a long time, taking in the rare silence.
"You ready for my surprise love?"
A smile spreads across your face.
"I was born ready." He laughs before he stands up and takes your hand.
"Now it's my turn to drag you around like a maniac." You laughed as he started pulling you back across the roof tops and towards the ladder. He took you to the market where you both managed to steal some fresh berries and other trinkets. He then lead you to the fish and chip shop where he made you wait outside, and emerged with a bag and wrapped food before taking your hand again and leading you to the small Forrest on the far edge of the Isle.
"Where are we going?"
"If I told you, it would defeat the purpose of the surprise, wouldn't it?"
He kept going until you could hear the beach and smell the salt in the air. He stops, and you are met with a makeshift hammock, big enough for two, and little lights strung among the trees. Beside the hammock is a blanket that has a small table across it. You stand there speechless as you look around. He smirks at your loss of words.
"Has the never ending talker finally ran out of words?" You mindlessly nodded as you admired the sight.

You and Harry had fish and chips on the blanket before moving to the hammock to watch the sunset, which is only visible on this side of the Isle. You pulled out the berries you had stolen and shared them with Harry, relishing the taste... and the moment. As you watched the sunset you leant your head on Harry's shoulder, and he responded by putting his arm around you, pulling you into his side.
"Today has really been a perfect anniversary."
"Couldn't agree more love."
As the sunset and the Forrest became darker, the small lights became brighter.
"I have one more surprise for you." You look at Harry curiously. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a necklace. It featured a red gem, wrapped it silver wiring.
"It's beautiful."
You turned around and let him put it around your neck. You held it softly in your palm and admired it.
"Thank you Harry."
He put his arms around your waist and his head on your shoulder.
"You deserve to be spoiled love."
The way he pronounced 'love' set off a spark of confidence in you. You turned around and pulled Harry's face close to yours. You stopped just before your lips meet and looked into his eyes, searching for confirmation.
"I want to love you, Y/f/n."
"I already love you Harry Hook."
He leant down and connected his lips with yours.
