We've been walking for what feels like forever. We found an abandoned house and thank god there was a wagon in there or else a Cinna would have just curled up and died from being so tired. I now notice how serious he could be. He must really miss his girlfriend and brother. Cinna has been inside of the wagon for an hour now and now I wanna sit in it. I hate pulling this dumbass wagon. "G. How long have you been trying to get to Arizona?" G sighs.

"How long have you been dying to know about me, doll?" I groan.

"Im tired and need to talk to someone before I start crying or something." G stops and looks up a large tree.

"Well. Do you know how to climb?" I nod my head and shake the wagon for Cinna to get up. She wakes up quickly and sighs.

"Come on, you can sleep up here." I say as G's eye starts to glow. He immediately teleports up the tree. Show off. "Really?" I yell up at him. He shrugs his shoulders and lays down, taking out a cigarette. Haven't seen him smoke before.

"Hey, either you or Cinna can come up here, it's not very big." Cinna pouts and motions me to go up.

"Are you sure? I'm not gonna let you not have a chance with your 'future boyfriend'." Cinna just walks over to the tree next to us.

"It's fine. Just go." Damn, him having a girlfriend really made her sad. That's actually surprising for once. I shake my head and keep climbing until I reach a small little part where the branches split off into a small platform.

"Happy?" G stays, closing his eyes. "You finally got a bed." He exhales and a cloud of smoke comes out of his nose.

"Well. Other than the E-Boy smoker I guess I'm pretty happy." G chuckles and shifts a little.

"I'm an E-Boy? Huh? Then I guess your a depressed teenager." I gasped dramatically.

"I am 21! Not a teenager." "So then your just depressed." I stop for a minuet. "Yeah." I lay down and close my eyes. It only took me a little while for me to fall asleep.

                                                                                    -/+\-

When I woke up G was awake and out of the tree. "CINNA!" He keeps calling over and over. "Why are you calling for her!" I yell back down and sit up, stretching. "She's in the tree next to us." I look at where she was sleeping and she wasn't there, I stood up and looked over and she was still not in sight. Did she get so mad that she ran away?

"I found a bunch of blood on the floor of the tree she was sleeping on. It wasn't very high and even an animal could climb up there."I immediately climbed down, frightened. G pointed to a pool of blood at the bottom of the tree.

"Well.. there's gotta be.. some kind of.. I-I don't know trail or whatever." I looked around on the ground. Absolutely nothing. I felt a lump in my throat and my face get warmer.

"MC. There was a light sprinkle last night, a small drop of blood would've been washed away." G started to walk over to me slowly "I doubt she's alive. I'm sorry doll." Tears started to fall down my face. I run my hands through my hair. She didn't deserve it. We should've never came. G gives me a hug and rubs my back, I cry hard into his shoulder.

We sat there for a while, it started to rain a bit again which somehow calmed me. I wasn't even crying anymore, just thinking. This was such a bad fucking idea. I should've never agreed to going. We should have just stayed at home and watched tv, eating ramen noodles and Cinnabuns for the rest of our lives. G seemed like he needed a hug too, he knew I wasn't crying anymore. He just wanted an excuse to finally get a hug again. G quickly pushed me away and looked behind us. "What is it?" I said before hearing a howl.

"Run." I look at him, confused. "RUN DAMNIT!" G says as he starts to sprint away, I can then see a blob of red and brown fur. It was a half wolf half cheetah kind of creature. It had been lurking underground but when the monsters were released so were they. Their fast but can tire easily. I start sprinting with G, their barks getting louder and louder as we run through what seemed like an endless thicket of just trees and tall grass. My legs burned so bad but at the same time I had no choice but to run if I wanted to live. We soon got out of the woods and kept running. We soon find ourselves at an edge of a large mountain. Butterfly Knob. It was beautiful. But we didn't have time to soak in all of the details.

While the creature wasn't running anymore they were still right behind us, panting hard. G looked down at the ground for a while. "Take my hand. We're jumping." I looked at him like he was crazy as he pulled out his hand. "JUST TRUST ME WHAT ELSE ARE WE GONNA DO?" I sighed and looked behind me, damn those things were big. They were almost two times taller than G. I took his hand and we jumped. I closed my eyes tightly and didnt move an inch. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck rise as I opened my eyes and saw how close to the bottom we were-
