No One Else Was on the Roof Where it Happened

When Shinsou realized that day that he had not had his first kiss before, he didn't think that it would miraculously happen within the hour. Nor did he ever imagine it would be with the one boy he couldn't get out of his head.

That being said, he still wished he didn't do it.

First of all, it was blatantly obvious that Kaminari didn't like him. Technically, he had suggested they kiss, but most likely it was because he just wanted to help Hitoshi. Or, at the very least, he had meant it as a joke, not for him to actually do it.

Secondly, Denki definitely didn't like him because he thought it was a good idea for them to forget about it. Of course, Hitoshi couldn't forget about it, couldn't get his stupid first kiss out of his head, not even days later. Even if it ended as badly as it did, he couldn't help but wish for it to happen again.

He'd told Denki that he still didn't know what he thought about kissing, but deep down, he knew that was just an excuse. He might not have wanted to kiss Asui, but he definitely wanted to kiss Kaminari again. Not that the blond would ever let him, that was. That ship had already sailed, and he probably wouldn't get another chance like that again.

So, as embarrassing as it might have been for him to admit it, Hitoshi hung on to that memory, even if it was bittersweet.

He also vowed to not tell anyone about what happened. Nope. Not a single soul. No one would ever get to know. It was a secret that was going with him and Kaminari to their graves.

Okay, so maybe he told Tsuyu about his disastrous situation.

"Hitoshi," she practically groaned, throwing her head back into the mattress of her bed that they were both spread across. "Did we not agree to get over this? Kissing him is the exact opposite of that." Shinsou huffed from his spot on the bed, shifting onto his side to face her. She wasn't mad-- there was no reason that she would be mad. She just looked very, very disappointed in him. Hitoshi could relate, he was disappointed in him as well.

"I know, I just--" He sighed into his palm, letting his hands drag over his face. "I didn't really mean to. He just offered and I--" Asui sat up suddenly, cutting Hitoshi off with wide eyes.

"He offered?" she questioned. She furrowed her eyebrows, trying to make sense of it.

Shinsou really didn't want to tell her why Kaminari offered in the first place. He still wasn't sure how she would react. She could break up with him-- which was unlikely, he knew, but a possibility, nevertheless. Or what if she would be mad? Or upset? Hitoshi didn't want that.

But Asui wasn't really giving him any other option than to explain why the hell Denki would offer to kiss him.

Shinsou groaned, rolling over to shove his face into the pillows of Tsuyu's bed, preparing himself to spill the truth. He took a breath, ready to explain, but, before he could, as if by some miracle, a knocking at Asui's door sounded, causing them both to snap their heads up. Tsuyu was quick to move off of the bed and answer the door.

Shinsou's internal cheering for the distraction was cut short when he realized who was at the door. His grin immediatly dropped, as did his head into his pillow.

Scratch that. This was no miracle; it was a curse. A curse to become even more embarrassed than he would have been with just Asui.

Aoyama didn't say a word about Hitoshi groaning into his girlfriend's pillows. He only eagerly sat down on her floor, intertwining his fingers. Shinsou didn't trust the smile on his face one bit.

"What is he doing here?" he asked dryly, as if Aoyama wasn't one of his closest friends. Shinsou would admit, he found hanging out with the excentric blond to be enjoyable-- sometimes, at least-- but at that moment, Shinsou wanted nothing more than to be alone with his backstabbing girlfriend. Did she really have to invite Yuuga?
