Y/N's POV
People whispered and giggled as Zuko stormed out.

Rowan muttered to me,

"Haha, what a loser, am I right?"

My face dropped, I noticed someone behind him walking past with two glasses of whatever they had, I slyly moved my hand, bending the water from the cup and splashing it over him, he turned around to the guy,

"Watch where you're going!"

As he said that, I "accidentally" dropped my food all down his torso, he turned back to me brushing down his clothes,

"Ugh, it's all sticky."

I held my hand over my mouth and sarcastically said,

"Oops!"

Before shoving past him and leaving to find Zuko.

I heard him mutter from behind me,

"What's her deal?"

I ran down to the beach where I saw Zuko walking with his head hung low,

"Zuko! Zuko, wait!"

His head lifted and turned to me as I ran down to him,

"Hey, are you alright? I saw what happened."

"I'm fine. What are you doing here? Isn't your little boyfriend waiting for you?"

I awkwardly scratched the back of my neck,

"Haha, Rowan? I don't think he's interested in me anymore..."

Zuko muttered,

"I find that hard to believe."

I felt my cheeks flush,

"So, where are you heading?"

He looked up to a large building a little way up.

"My family's beach house."

"Wow. It's amazing, why didn't we just stay here?"

Zuko shrugged before dragging his feet up the hill.

When we got to the door, Zuko kicked it hard, forcing it open.

In front of us, there was a picture of Fire Lord Ozai, Ursa, Zuko and Azula. His eyes filled with sadness. I placed my hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him.

He picked up a little stone with a tiny handprint pressed into it, he placed his hand over it. That was his handprint.

Zuko sighed,

"You should get back to the party, Y/N, I think I need some space."

I turned to face him,

"Are you sure?"

He nodded.

I pulled him in right for a hug and rubbed his back,

"Just so you know, Zuko, I'm always here for you."

I pulled away and made my way back to the party.

Zuko's POV
I sat at the entrance of the beach house for a while before I heard footsteps approach me, I didn't even look up.

Then I heard my sister's voice,

"Y/N said I'd find you here."

"Those summers we spent here seem so long ago. So much has changed."

As I looked up, she turned away,

"Come down to the beach with me. Come on, this place is depressing."
