Chapter 5 - Take Me Home

Ricky’s POV

I’ve never been so scared in my life. I thought I was going to lose her for a second there. I don’t know what I’d do if I lost her. I can’t even bare to think about it… so time to pre occupy my mind with something else. The thought of going home, I was finally heading home after about 6 months. You see we kicked off this tour at the start of the year in San Diego but did about 3 shows down in Texas which was great, mine and Demi’s family had both come out to the show so we got to see them before and after then for the other 2 shows they hung out backstage. So it’s going to be amazing to see my family again, thing is I’m away from home so much on tour I don’t get to see my family as much as I’d like if I could I’d bring them out on tour with me but because there’s quite a few of them it would be a little difficult. Nevertheless, I am so stoked about going back home and I know Demi is too! But right now I’m just waiting for her to get ready. Come on woman get a move on!

Demi’s POV

I have no idea what happened. I remember walking back from Rick’s room, starting to get ready and then waking up with Rick there. He said I passed out but I don’t know what would have caused it… I don’t really want to think about it right now all I want to think about is heading off to Dallas and seeing my family and of course my Lovatics. Touring as much as I do doesn’t allow me see my family as much as I would like I mean they come out on the road with me some times but they can’t all the time, I see my mom, dad and my older sister Dallas but in all honesty the one person I miss the most is my little sister Madison. She can’t come out on the road unlike everyone else so I try and go back home and see her as much as my schedule will let me so I know I’ve got a huge hug to look forward to when I get home!

Finishing off my makeup and looking considerably better than earlier, at least I don’t have a line of mascara down my face; I headed out of the bedroom to see Rick stood by the door he still looked shook up by what had happened earlier, but I was so glad that I had him here I don’t know what would have happened if he wasn’t here. I really am lucky.

Ricky’s POV

“Ready!” – Demi said as she walked out of the bedroom. I just stood there stunned by how beautiful she looked.

“How do I look?” – She smiled and did a twirl; I walked over to her put my hands around her waist and pulled her against me. 

“You look gorgeous… as per usual” – I gave her a smile as she put her arms around my neck smiled back and kissed me which resulted in more of those little butterflies. I sighed as she pulled away and a small smile crept up her face.

“Shall we take you home?” – I smiled and kissed her again but this time she started giggling mid-way I pulled away.

“What?” – I laughed at just how cute she was being.

“I don’t know this just feels right ya’know” – She said gesturing to us I smiled.

“So it’s not just me” – She just looked up to me and smiled. “I’ll just take that as a no then, come on let’s go” – I kissed her on the forehead and walked out of the room with her.

As we approached the car with the rest of the crew in I saw Alex get out and walk over to me to at which point I ushered Demi to go on ahead.

“So you patch things up with Demi?” – Alex asked as I walked towards the car.
