Ricky's POV

What the hell is that?! Who the fuck is trying to wake me up?! By poking me in the arm as well!!

"Dude get up! We gotta leave for GMA" - Rob yelled at me whilst kicking my bed slightly. I sat bolt upright but as soon as I did that I cracked my head on the steel bunk above me.

"FUCK!!" I screamed out! Nice one Rick! All Rob could do was laugh and help me out of bed. Nice one asshole.

"Now go get dressed ya' lazy git!" - He yelled whilst shoving me into the bathroom.

As I clambered into the bathroom I felt the bright light singe through my eyes, drastically washing and brushing my teeth I ran out of the bathroom to my bunk where I threw on my skinny’s and shoes before grabbing a clean shirt and running out the bus. As I stepped off the bus Rob, Alex, Steve & Demi were all stood by the car waiting for me.

"Good morning sleepy head!" - Demi said letting out a cheeky grin, which resulted in me smiling back as usual. As I clambered into the car Rob started to speed off. This performance on GMA was important for Demi so we couldn't really afford to be late but at the speed Rob was driving we were going to be on time.

As we pulled up to the entrance of GMA security ushered us to a parked area and then to the stage for us to set up. As we walked down the hallways I could tell Demi was nervous because she was a little on edge so I decided to walk alongside her.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay you know, you’re gonna do great as usual" - I said calmly whilst putting my arm around her for comfort to at which point she placed her head on my shoulder

"Thanks Ricky.. Your great" - I couldn't help but smile.

As we approached the GMA stage I suddenly felt a wave of excitement, well I do before any show but this was different this was the first big TV performance Demi's done for this album. I walked over to where my guitar was sitting, picked it up and started tuning & setting up my equipment. I could hear Demi in the background warming up her vocals, damn the girls got a set of pipes. I could see out of the corner of my eye that Demi was coming back onto the stage, she didn't look herself like something had happened I could feel the concern growing on my face because Alex walked over to me.

"What's up bro?" - He sounded concerned but I just blanked him out, handed him my guitar and walked over to Demi.

"Hey... Dem.. You okay?" - Her eyes kept wandering around the arena until they fall on me.

"Yeah I'm fine Rick" - She didn't sound like herself at all so I thought I'd just leave it for now and get on with sound check, so I gave her a soft smile.

"You know I'm here if you need to talk" - I said as I walked back to Alex, who was still holding my guitar.

She alright?" - Alex asked as I put my guitar on & my in ear monitors in.

"No" - I said calmly whilst still looking over at Demi, who was adjusting her mic pack. "Something's happened. There's something she's not telling me" - Alex looked at me confused.

"How can you tell?" - He asked looking more and more confused.

"I can see it in her eyes. The way she's speaking. The way she's behaving, she's becoming jittery. She's just not herself" - I was pretty confident I knew what had happened but I didn't want to say.

"She seemed fine earlier"

"Yeah, but you don't know Demi like I do she can go from a massive high to massive low in a matter of seconds. She's still healing remember you-" - I got cut off by Andrew the sound guy for GMA saying we were ready to go, with that Rob counted us in for Give Your Heart a Break, if Demi was down she wouldn't dance up against me like she normally would during the song this was sort of the test to see if she was alright.
