Little Smith

Little Smith had stood amazed,
As he glimpsed an elegant monkey,
For hours and hours, at him, he gazed,
Like Smith, he was very clunky

No doubt, why Smith stood silent,
Too handsome, was the joyful he,
To all my words, was Smith defiant,
His face lit up with impish glee

Witty and naughty, he was just like Smith,
Charming, alluring and indeed pretty,
To cuddle the monkey, he rushed forthwith,
But sooner, the air was filled in pity

The pretty monkey and little Smith,
As, both, drew nearer and nearer,
All the joy disappeared forthwith,
When little Smith had hit the mirror

I pity for Smith...
