Once, daddy got a hiccup,
And broke my mommy's teacup,
He knew that she would yell,
Hence, he decided not to tellLuckily, I saw daddy there,
Befuddled, all I did was stare,
At the shattered pieces of the cup,
Broken by daddy's little hiccup,In fear, daddy said to me,
"A little secret let it be,
Don't tell mommy anything",
And right away, did the doorbell ringMommy came in and daddy went,
"Is there a message to be sent?",
She faintly whispered in my ear,
And didn't want daddy to hear"A little secret between us,
Let's stop making a silly fuss,
Tell me what I need to know,
Tell me without much ado"Little secrets then and now,
To be secretive, I don't know how,
I made sure if my voice was bold,
And everything, to her, I toldLittle secrets I had made,
All of it, now, begun to fade,
Both the secrets I did feign,
As I returned to daddy once againThe third wheel?
