Scott had texted Carter and told her they were going to a black out party at Derek's. Weird. Carter would have never thought he would allow that to happen.

She pondered the thought of going before texting Isaac saying to be ready in 20 minutes.

Carter went through everything in her closet and found a bright pink bralette and matching shorts.

"Perfect" Carter said to herself as she put her hair up into a half up half down style. She then  went over to the mirror and applied a little bit of powder and mascara.

Before Carter left to meet Isaac, she threw on a large sweatshirt.

............

The couple could hear the music blaring from outside.

As they opened the loft doors they were instantly greeted with flashing lights and dancing teens.

"Derek can never know about this." Isaac said wrapping his arm around Carter's waist.

She was a little shocked at first, she hadn't realized how big this party was going to be.

Isaac could sense Carter's sudden panic with the large crowd. He pulled her towards the back of the party where it was more clear.

"I still don't like large crowds." Carter smiled referring to the rave where they had tried to capture Jackson. Isaac looked at Carter, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Should we find Scott?" He asked her.

Carter looked around spotting the alpha with Kira and soon she saw her brother with another girl in a bright wig. Carter smiled seeing both of them happy.

"I think we should let them have tonight." She said gesturing towards them. Isaac followed her gaze.

Isaac nodded and looked at Carter, "So should we."

Carter bit her lip as she lifted the sweatshirt off her body, throwing it to a table against the wall. Isaac's eyes widened as he took in the sight before him. His breath caught in his throat. His eyes roamed her body while a blush spread across his cheeks. Carter couldn't help but laugh at his sudden nervousness.

"So... do you want to paint my body?" She said leaning over towards a table and grabbing a paint brush. She smirked at him.

"I want to paint your body." Isaac grinned from ear to ear.

Isaac reached for the paint brush and he began his work. He took the neon paint and started on her chest. Carter couldn't help but chuckle at his concentration.

He guided the brush to make different swirls and designs, eventually leading towards her stomach.

When he finished his work, his bright blue eyes traveled up to Carter's.

"Who knew you were such the artist Lahey?" She teased him.

"Well I have a beautiful canvas." He smirked.

"You're such a cheese ball."

"A cheese ball who loves you." He laughed. Carter kissed him, loving that every time they did, it felt like the very first time.

As the two broke apart, Carter smirked, glancing down at Isaac's shirt. She wove her fingers around the fabric, taking it off of him.

"My turn."

..............

Isaac was twirling his girl around to the music, smiles never leaving their faces.

With each beat of the music their bodies glided together as one. For a split second, Carter and Isaac forgot about the impending danger waiting around the corner. It was just them, in this moment. Together.
