i finish talking to tyler, and get kenzie's attention. we find the girls through the tracking app we have. we see they're back at the hotel.

we slowly make our way down the boardwalk to the street where our hotel is and go inside up to our room. and when we walk in, we see kiara out on the balcony.

i quickly run over and unlock the sliding door, wondering what she's doing out there by herself and why liv isn't here.

"kiara what the hell were you doing out there?" i ask panicking.

"and why was the balcony door locked?" kenzie adds.

"holy shit, you're freezing" i say handing her a sweatshirt.

"did you guys see liv on your way up?" she asked shivering.

"no, the showers on, we thought she was just in the bathroom" kenzie added.

"no, we were just sitting outside talking and she said she had to use the bathroom, next thing i know she locked the door, turned on the shower.. i guess as a distraction to you two and walked out of the door grabbing her sweatshirt" kiara says warming up.

"what, we tracked you guys it said she was here" kenzie said.

"she didn't take her phone, she left everything here. her wallet, apple watch, phone, she even left her shoes here" kiara said.

"you two stay here incase she comes back, i'm gonna go look for her" kenzie says getting her purse and phone.

"no, kenzie you need to stay here. i know where she is.  i'll keep my location on incase." i say grabbing my phone and not even worried about putting my shoes on.

i walk out of the door, taking the key card from kiara and sliding it into my phone case. while making my way down to 24th street where the boardwalk ends.

i walk up to the water looking around, when i hear someone from behind me.

"didn't think you would find me so easily" she says as i turn around.

"ok liv enough with the games, where the hell are you" seeing she was nowhere in sight.

"you're an idiot holy crap, look to your right... more... more... stop. now look up." she says as i follow the directions she's telling me.

"wow i should've known" i say walking over to where she was.

"what? you telling me you don't remember this spot?" she says laughing.

"no no no, i do and you don't have to remind me of the story behind it" i laugh with her.

"well come up dumbass" she says as i start climbing up the lifeguard stand.

"liv what the hell are you doing, it's 1 am, we're supposed to be out partying. not manifesting they old times" i say as her smile turns into a face full of sadness.

"in not- i'm not manifesting olivia, i'm taking a moment to take it all in. to cope with what just happened. you think this is the first place i wanted to come after leaving that hotel? no. i came here, to this specific spot because this is where mine and his memories started, and this is where i want them to end, i wanna let go of him." she says with a single tear running down her face.

"what is going on liv, i thought you did let go of him, you're with daniel now remember" i say completely confused.

"i did let go of him" she says wiping her tears.

"then what are you doing up here" i ask.

"i'm letting go, i'm letting go of the memories, the sound of his voice, i'm letting go of the pictures, the dates on the calendar. i know now more then ever. that i need to fully let go. i need to forget him, he was my bestfriend, hell he was the trios bestfriend. everyday i think that what he did to me is my fault, kiara feels the same pain i do, even worse then i do. so now i'm done. i need to live again olivia. i need to enjoy the time i have now, with my bestfriends .. here." she says smiling, still letting tears fall.

hell, she made me cry. that doesn't happen often.

"well then... let's live liv andrews... but first, we need to back to the hotel, clean up that makeup, change into some cute clothes. and go have one hell of a night.... maybe with shoes" me and her laugh.

we finally arrive back at the hotel, ready for a night out.

as we walk in the door we saw something we forgot to prepare ourselves for... livs aunt.

"mackenzie, we are not going to talk about what just happened ever again, we are going out, so i suggest you stick that anger in your pockets for later, get dressed into some cute ass clothes, put on makeup, and come have an amazing night with us... that is unless you would rather waste away the little vacation we have by sitting in this hotel room yelling at your niece." i snap.

"how's this shirt look" kenzie says picking a yellow top out from her drawer laughing as me and the girls join along.

"i say the purple one" i say still laughing while making my way to the other side of the room where my stuff is.

i get dressed and ready while liv and kiara talk things out.. ya know.. with the whole locking kiara on the balcony thing.

"i love you ki, i'm sorry" i over hear liv.

"i love you, but never do that again. it was so damn cold out there" ki says as they both laugh.

"good now that everyone is okay, liv. you need to go fix that smudged mascara, me and kiara will deal with your outfit, then ... party on 12th or 1st?" i ask.

"first" everyone says in unison.

we all laugh

buckle up.. this vacation is just getting started- olivia ;)
