liv.

"we need to talk" he says stepping closer to me.

"stay away from me" i say backing up.

"liv please" he says reaching for my hand.

i tried to pull away, but he was stronger then me.

"please" he says, eyes tearing up.

"you know what to do if you need us" kiara says talking about her and olivia, who is still outside.

me and daniel make our way up to my room, me following him into the dark room only light by a small lamp.

"sit" he says as i sit on the bed.

"listen, this isn't how i wanted you to find out. not like this." he says reaching for my hand again, me pulling away.

"then how did you want me to find out, hmm? we're you just gonna ambush me with the tape one day out of nowhere and hope that i wouldn't do something stupid." i say choking on my words.

"i was going to tell you, eventually." he said putting his head down.

"I SHOULDNT HAVE HAD TO HAVE FOUND OUT DANIEL, YOU AND THE BOYS SHOULDVE BEEN HONEST WITH ME FROM THE START. I SHOULDNT HAVE HAD TO PUT MY BESTFRIEND IN JAIL AND I SHOULDNT BE WORRYING IF ME AND MY FRIENDS ARE IN DANGER BECAUSE OF YOU" i snap.

"you know i would never do anything to hurt you" he says, tears falling from his cheeks onto his white tshirt.

"can you just explain to me why, why did you do it. then maybe i'll think about letting you guys stay" i say wiping my tears.

"he hurt you liv, he almost killed you. what was i supposed to do? let him get away with that?" he says inching closer to me.

"i basically killed his son, he has to wake up everyday and live with the fact that he doesn't have a child anymore daniel. i say what i did to him is just a little bit worse then what he did to me." i say

"you didn't kill his son liv, how many times does everyone have to tell you this. you did everything you could you followed every step in the book, it was not and will never be your fault" he says grabbing my hand.

"IT IS MY FAULT. he was not the first drowning victim i have tried to save, but he's the first one that resulted in a casualty, i was the responding guard, i got him out of the water, i broke his chest bone, i made his lungs collapse from the CPR, we basically fried that child's heart with the AED. so yes daniel, it was my fault. and i have to live with that for the rest of my life" i say

there was nothing but silence after that.

"i did it to protect you" he turns to me.

i didn't think what i was thinking was gonna come out of my mouth so easily.. but it did.

"we're done." i say getting up.

"what" he says jumping up running over to me.

"you and the boys can come get your guys stuff tomorrow, i'll be on my flight to LA, so i won't be here for a couple days. it's easier if we don't see each other for a while" i say avoiding eye contact and walking out.

"liv.. LIV DONT DO THIS" i hear him yell.

i walk out, i keep walking. i grabbed my keys, purse and my shoes and left. i didn't have a destination, i just needed to go.

i decided to give liv her space, what i did was wrong but i did it for the right reasons. yes, we may not have been dating yet but i knew she was special to me and i couldn't lose her.

i'm not giving up on us.
