Mabontle

It's breaktime and Bontle is still worried about Lesedi, she just woke up sick, she was very hot when Bontle mistakenly touched her. Lesedi's mother said it was probably fever and she was catching flu. This was news to Bontle, she always thought people got flu whenever it's winter, just imagine someone falling ill in the middle of a hot summer January. Also, she was stressed out because she really didn't look so good.

"I hope you are not thinking about that stupid guy Bontle," said Amu turning towards her.

"There's nothing to think about concerning him, I am just worried about Lesedi," she replied as she was biting her 2 slices of bread offered by Amu. Well to be more specific Amu forced her to take it.

"Are you sure it's not what Sterror said to him about that other girl?" Amu asked taking a sip of her juice that was in a cooldrink bottle.

It was very normal to recycle containers and give them a new function. Many of them would use margarine containers as a lunchbox container.

"No, it's not, ever since my mom died from what started to be a minor sickness I easily panic when someone is sick. Even with my mom, I thought that it was just a minor headache, only to find that she would..." she said with tears streaming down her cheeks and Amu wiping them away.

Bontle asked to be excused as she needed her time by herself for a moment to be alone, she went to the ladies' restrooms which were a distant apart from their chilling spot. She tried to hold back tears but couldn't stop sniffing.

"Hey Bontle are you okay? Are you crying because of what Sterror said this morning?" asked Kagiso who attempted to hold her left shoulder but was unsure if he should, so he drew his hand back.

"Why should I be angry? Look Kagiso I have many things to worry about and you are definitely not even in my mind and I doubt you will ever be. Guys like you disgusts me, you think the world revolves around you akere? Please leave me alone," she replied pushing him backwards and leaving him puzzled.

Amu was definitely right about him, I should stay away from him. I think I might have vented on him yet again, maybe I should apologise to him, no let me let things be. In fact, Bontle listen you don't have time for this.

When she reached the ladies' room she saw a chubby girl who was being bullied about her weight by other slim girls. However, what she admired was that the girl didn't care what they said about her she just fixed herself up, turned to Bontle with a smile and walked away.

"Wait...Hi, Sorry to be rude but why don't you seem bothered by what they said to you?" asked Bontle who wasn't even sure how that questioned jumped from her mind to her mouth.

"I got used to it, these girls have been calling me fat ever since I came here. When I took a close look at them, I saw why they did it. They are just jealous, so I don't have time for that," the lady walked out like a top model

What a confident lady...

When Bontle saw the confidence of that lady she managed to feel better. Yeah it is strange but that chubby girl's confidence made her to see that she had her own life to live and it was waiting for her. She went to the basin and took some droplets of water pouring them on her face and cleared out the dry tears. Then she looked at the mirror, took a deep breath and smiled. She could have attempted to walk like the chubby girl, but she knew it would look ridiculous. So, she decided to walk with her head up high. As she went back she passed Kagiso who looked awfully awkward when he saw her passing by. None of them said anything to the other. Terrence broke the silence:
