We can also talk about anything else," said Kagiso's mother handing her phone numbers she wrote in a piece of paper.
"Thank you so much Mrs Mokoena, when my friend told me that you are great to talk to I was hesitant, (sigh) now I feel very much better," said Bontle who stood up and gave Mrs Mokoena a huge hug.
After talking for hours, Bontle went home, along the way she bumped into Comrade.
"Hi Bontle, c-can I walk you home? It's already getting late," said Comrade who was even sweating.
"Yes, you can, it's better walking with someone I know, Comrade right?" asked Bontle with a smile.
"Yes, it's Comrade," he said blushing, taking Bontle's Schoolbag to carry it.
"Why the name?" asked Bontle trying to make a conversation.
"Because I was teased for repeating grade 10 for 3 times, so they are indirectly calling me an ancestor," Comrade answered hoping that Bontle won't be turned off by that.
"Oh, really?," asked Bontle who couldn't stop laughing.
As they were walking Comrade called out Kagiso, who was walking in the streets. He looked sad and partly angry.
Bontle was stunned by the look Kagiso gave him, his eyes were full of fury, turning red and almost teary.

"Bontle, this is my friend KG, we really close friends. KG this is Bontle," said Comrade with the widest grin.
Wait...Even if I don't know much about dating, but why does it feel like he is introducing me as his girlfriend? Calm down Bontle, don't overreact, Comrade could just be friendly like he always is.

Hearing that word coming from Comrade made Bontle cringe, without anything she left both of them right there walking as fast as she could. She couldn't think or say anything. It was the first time someone calling her babe, but it felt so wrong. When she arrived at home she found Lesedi who had already done the house chores.
