Kagiso

Kagiso had an early meeting with his team. They were preparing to launch a new project and needed investors because it was a huge project-different from other innovations that he previously made. Therefore, he prepared himself to go to work. His housemaid Marry, made breakfast for him as usual and then off he went. He was living in a large double storey with only 10 bedrooms. Terrence said he was being crazy for buying such a huge house to live alone. On his way to work, his cell phone rang.

"Sho Ntwana," he responded.

"Ntwana I am back in SA, can I come later today at your house?" asked Terrence.

"Is my answer going to make any difference?" he replied.

"Okay, cool I will see you ka 6, I have to be back to the house before 8. Don't you dare bury yourself with work or else," Terrence said after dropping the phone.

Kagiso went to work and he was busy the whole day.

"Boss, you haven't eaten," said his PA as she handed over his favourite takeaways.

"It's okay Mimi, I have to go home early, but thanks for the offer. You can give these to our intern I am sure he would appreciate them because he is a foodie," Kagiso said still focussed on work.

"Kagiso, you need a break," said his PA as she approached him seductively.

"That day of the year-end function I was drunk, I am sorry if I led you on. I didn't mean to," Kagiso said as he stood up and went to the boardroom.

Kagiso locked himself up the whole day, by 16:30, he left his work to go to his house. Normally, he would pop-in the house to take shower and head back to the office. He had become a workaholic. When he arrived at home, he asked Marry to prepare a special lunch before she knocked off.

"Knock-knock, I am home!" said Terrence shouting at the top of his lungs.

"Sho Ntwana," said Kagiso

"Sho Ntwana," said Kagiso.

"You look terrible, unlike Bontle," said Terrence.

"Eish, I don't sleep for more than 3 hours, I work around the clock because this project is going to make me and the generation of my family to come, to be filthy rich," said Kagiso.

"Which one? When you don't have time to even go out. Your maid buys you everything even clothes," Terrence said.

"Wait man, you said something about Bontle, did you see her?" Kagiso said.

"Yeah, when my wife and I were out of the country. I bumped into her in a mall," Terrence said looking at his eyes.

"How is she?" asked Kagiso his face suddenly changed.

"She is looking great. She is glowing, I even thought she was married," Terrence said.

"So, she is not married?" Kagiso said still sad.
